Report on Governors quiz competition

On 17th October 2017, school level GK quiz competition was held in our Vidyalaya - PTC Banderdewa. In which according to merit Kr. Pankaj Tiwari (CL-X) and Kr. Ngawang Gyaltsen (CL-IX) stood 1st and 2nd position respectively.

On 20th of October 2017, they were sent to Government Higher Secondary School, Doiumikh for participating in District level Governors quiz competition, where they stood 1st position and awarded with Rs. 2000/- and an opportunity to participate in State level.

On 28th of October 2017, they represented Papumpare District at the State Level Governors Quiz at Government Higher Secondary School- Kankarnallah, Naharlagun. It was a tough competition among 11 different schools from the state with representation from different districts, our school stood 1st position and make proud for the whole Papumpare District in the state, as well as us.

Also they have won the Winning Trophy (running) and a sum of Rs. 5000/- in cash.

The students gathered from different schools from 8:50 am from the morning to attend the camp, the first session was opened by Sri. Oma Ngomle (C.D.I),P.T.C.with Sri. Vijay .T. and lighted the lamp with Manglacharan. Sri. Govind Sir introduced the students about the chief guest at 10:30 am. The camp had 150 students from nearby areas. The welcome speech was done by Sri. Vijay Sir, after that the Shibir Geet was sung by Km. Nayanmoni Dutta Didi. The song was “Wakti Wakti Mai Jagaya Rastra
Chetna”, which was sung by lead and follow. Sri.Govind Sir told to the students about the purpose of the camp and explained the means i.e. “Waktita Vikash Shibir”that will lead for well being of the country visa –vis he highlighted that 36 schools of VKV are at present organizing this camp in different corners of Arunachal Pradesh. After his speech Sri. Vijay .T. Wel Comed the chief guest with “Fulom Gamusa”, a traditional Assamese Scarf on the stage. And that was followed by the valuable speech of Sri. Oma Ngomle, (C.D.I); at first, he thanked for honouring him in this camp and inviting for this camp; he interacted with the different students and gave more emphasis on “Discipline” among the students”, later he spoke about the former late President A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, the 11th president and his work in D.R.D.O. and in his speech on European Union on the topic “Righteousness”, he told the students that if you will have discipline then you can really reach your goal and to be self controled. Stress that this camp will certainly help them for U.P.S.C. Exam in the future, so for that the students should maintain time- table and be disciplined. At the end he once more thanked our school for inviting him again and concluded his speech. The vote of thank was delivered by Sri. S.N. Pandey Sir and culminated by shanti Mantra by Sri. Govind Sir.

Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration

VKV PTC Banderdewa celebrated the Universal Brotherhood Day procession. It was Flag off by Sri. K. Yangfo, the O C Banderdewa police station. Sri. Sumyak Sumnyan, Superintendent Engineer NHAI- Eastern zone was the guest speaker. He spoke about the importance of Universal   brotherhood day and role of VKVian’s in the present situation in Arunachal Pradesh.

The procession was started from 5/1 Nyokum Nia ground to VKV PTC Banderdewa. Children’s from classes IV- X and all teaching staff participated.

Sadgamaya Shibir at VKV Banderdewa

Sadgamaya Shibir was conducted by VKV, PTC, Banderdewa on 3rd  and 4th of October. A total no. of 72 participants signed up their names from different nearby schools among which were 39 boys and 33 girls. The camp started with the inaugural function, with the lighting of the lamp by Sri Wang Kiyang Singpho , Vice Principal, PTC and Sri Uma Ngomle, Inspector, CDI, PTC.

Welcome Speech :-  Sri Vijay Kumar Teheriya, Vice Principal, VKV, PTC  welcomed all the participants as well as the chief guest in the presence of all the staff members of V.K.V. , Banderdewa.

Shivir Geet – “ Dharma Ke liye Jiyen ………” presented by Sri Madhurjya Saikia.

The purpose of the camp :- It was presented by Sri Satya Narayan Pandey. He cited  the moto of this camp with the definition of Personality as it means the whole nature or character of a person. In addition to this he also added some more points in relation to the purpose of the camp. Such as :- To become responsible children, to know Vivekananda Kendra, to give cultural inputs , interacting with each other and materializing the moto of VKV that is man making and nation building.

Speech by the Chief Guest :- In his blessings  the Chief Guest, insisted the participants to have a good personality.He also emphasized that we need four traits such as Knowledge, Character, Quality and Karma to have a good personality and to sharpen it we have three things given by God such as Physic, Intellect and Heart.

Vote of thanks was given by Sri Govind Viswakarma and the function ended with Santi Mantra.

REPORT ON  NATIONALYOUTH DAY CELEBRATION

VKV PTC Banderdewa celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2016 at PTC auditorium. Nearly 800 people attended in the program.  Prof. Tamo Mibang, Vice Chancellor Rajiv Gandhi University Doimukh graced the occasion as Chief Guest. While addressing the Students, parents and publics, he called up on to maintain discipline in one’s life.  “Discipline is the process of training oneself in obedience, self-control and skill development.  Absence of discipline  leads  to one’s destruction.  Therefore, to prevent decay, discipline has to be imposed in the common interest and for good cause”, he said.  Swami Vivekananda was a disciplinarian in his life. So, it is our duty to follow his footpath, he said. Sri. John Neihalia IPS Principal PTC graced the occasion as Guest of Honor. VKV PTC and other nearby school students presented cultural programs on the occasion.
