Sree Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations - VKV Balijan

VKV Balijan celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami with great zeal and reverence on 24th August 2019.  Sri. Jyoti Prakash Mishra, Sanskrit Teacher, while addressing the audience pointed out that the Janmashtami is the festival of victory of Good over Evil.  He said that Bhagawan Krishna is considered one of the most powerful incarnations of the Lord Vishnu.

As a part of the celebration, students had arranged a beautiful tableau on the theme of “Incidence of Life of Yashodha and Krishna”.  A House-wise Classical Dance Competition was also presented in front of the well attendant audience related to Krishna

Altogether, 200 students, 32 teaching & non-teaching staffs and their families were the part of the celebration in the school.

State Level Science Seminar Observed  - VKV Balijan

Kum. Jimi Dirchi has secured  1st Position in State Level Science Seminar 2019, Now she will be proceed to National Level to represent Arunachal Pradesh.

Report of Independence Day and Rakshabandhan Celebration at VKV Balijan

VKV Balijan celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and dignity on 15th August 2019.  I am happy to note that every student and teachers contributed towards its preparation to mark the occasion as successful one. The School organised a Morning Procession with bands wherein entire students and teaching staffs participated.  The procession took out to nearby village and ended in school gate.  After the procession, Sri. T.M. Sathian, Principal VKV Balijan hoisted the National flag in the campus at 7am.  While addressing the gathering, he informed about the sacrifices made by our soldiers and freedom fighters like, Gandhiji, Subhash Chandra Bose, Veer Savarkar etc. for the sake of our freedom and safety.

After the school programme, the entire students and teachers attended the public function at Balijan ground wherein our student’s outstanding performance such as band display, dumple and March past won the hearts of every walk of life. 

I am glad to inform you that VKV Balijan bagged first and second prize in march past for girls and boys respectively.

VKV Balijan also celebrated Rakshabandhan with religious fervour.  It was attended by 356 students, 22 teaching and non-teaching staffs and two School Supporting Group Members.  Sri. J.P. Mishra, Sanskrit Teacher spoke on the significance of celebrating Rakshabandhan in the present situation.  “It is a festival that brings a sense of collective belongingness among all the citizen of India.”, he said.  “All in all, the celebration of Rakshabandhan festival which signifies the beautiful family bond of trust and protection between brother and sister”, he continued.  At last sweets were distributed among students, teachers and other well wishers.

Prachoday Shibir Conducted - VKV Balijan

Vivekananda  Kendra  Vidyalaya Balijan conducted Prochodaya Shibir 2019 for class IX & X on 9th August 2019 in school auditorium.  Four sessions based on “Guru-Shishya relationship” initiated by Sri. Ramprakash Yadav, Headmaster Mahatama Gandhi Hindi School Dafflagarh, Career Guidance conducted by Su. Amken Gohain, Vivekananda Kendra & Preparation for Exam, a session conducted by Sri. Jyoti Prakash Mishra and Allertness Games  organized by Sri. B. Nagarale & Su. Latashree Deo etc. were some of the highlights of the  programme.

Altogether, 58 students (from both the classes) out of 61, attended in this years’ Prochodaya Shibir

VKV Alumni Association for the Jila Sampaka Abhiyan Meet - VKV Balijan

As per the Schedule set by the VKV Alumni Association for the Jila Sampaka Abhiyan, a six member team visited in the school on 23rd July 2019 at 3.30pm. In this connection, the school has organised a simple programme in the prayer hall to welcome the office bearers of VKV Alumni Association,  wherein all the students, teaching and non-teaching staffs were present.    Sri. T.M. Sathian, Principal formally welcomed the dignitaries and throw a light on the significance of the samparka abhiyan. Sri. S.C. Dixit, Cluster In-charge & Education Officer of VKVAPT,Papumpare Cluster felicitated the distinguished guests.

As a part of the programme, within a short span of time, they have organised a separate interactive session for the whole students as well as students of Class IX & X and teaching and non-teaching staffs.  

Entire team of the VKV Alumni Association left from the campus at 6pm and proceeded to Itanagar with positive note.
