An outreach programme on Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated at Govt. Secondary School, Shergaon by Buddha Kids, Govt. Secondary School, Shergaon, Valley View School, Yeshi DemaDormitory,and LNT Hostelin collaboration with VKV Shergaon on 19th January 2025.The programme was graced by Shri P.K Thungon, General Secretary of All Sherdukpen Blu (CBO’s)as Chief guest and Dr. D.K Thungon, President, Responsible Tourism Committee. The Chief guest delivered the speech on Swami Vivekananda in Sherdukpen dialect, followed by various traditional dance, Patriotic song, Swamiji’s quotations, Vivek Vani and speech on the Contribution of India in the progress of the world. The programme concluded with Vote of thanks by Shri N.D Khrimey from G.S.S, Shergaon. The programme was conducted quite enthusiastically by all the organising members led by the VKV team members Shri Anjan Purkayastha, Shri Dinanath lal and a student.
