District Level Literary Competition - VKV Jirdin

Indigenous Faith & Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh conducted District Level Literary Competition for English Essay Writing and Extempore Speech competition at Govt. Town Middle School, Aalo on 9th September,2018. Total fifty –seven students participated in both the competitions from Classes IX to X. And all the prizes (1st, 2nd and 3rd) were bagged by students of VKV in both the literary competitions.

On 16th September, all the winners of the literary competition were awarded at Central Donyi Polo Kargu Gamgi , Aalo with a Locket (pendant) of Donyi:Polo , certificate and cash prizes. The first prize winners of both the literary competiton in District level Km. Joyo Ete ( First in English Extempore Speech and Km. Perik Padu ( First in English Essay Writing) will be representing West Siang district at State level on the 23rd of this month at Itanagar.

Parent's Meet - VKV Jirdin

On 16th September,2018 a Parents’ & Teachers’ Meet was conducted for parents of Day scholar’s students of Class VI to X inside classroom.  Only twenty parents attended it. The programme started at 10.30 a.m. with lighting of the lamp by Principal VKV Jirdin. A patriotic song was presented by the students of class-IX. Sri. J. S. Yadav Principal, VKV Jirdin welcomed all the parents who were present in the meeting. Next Sri. Surajit Das threw light on the purpose of conducting the Parents’& Teachers’ Meet.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrated - VKV Jirdin

Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in VKV Jirdin for three days from 13th of September, 2018 to 15th of September, 2018. On the first day, around 11.a.m. Lord Ganeshji’s idol was installed in the prayer hall by Principal, VKV Jirdin following all the rituals the way possible. Principal, VKV Jirdin offered prayer, flowers and chanted the mantras, students and teachers followed after him. Bhajans were sung in praise of Lord Ganesha by some teaching staffs and prayer hall group. After completion of chanting of mantras, Aarti was done by all the teaching staff and students of Class-X. And prasad were distributed among all.

Next day during morning prayer Principal, VKV Jirdin offered prayer and bhajans were sung and aarti was done in the evening prayer and prasads were given to all. On 15th September, 2018, around 3.30 p.m. prayer was offered to Lord Ganesha and final aarti was done by all. Every teaching staff and hosteller students headed for the nearby stream for Lord Ganeshji’s visarjan. With prayers to Lord Ganesha to come again next year and by offering flowers, lighting incense sticks Lord Ganeshji’s idol was drowned by Principal, VKV Jirdin. After taking prasad, everyone returned back to school.

 

 

Universal Brotherhood Day celebrated  - VKV Jirdin

Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated in VKV Jirdin, where Sri. Eto Ete DDSE, Aalo graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Sri. Vinod Kr. Pandey Principal, JNV Kombo as the Guest of Honour. Sri. Bamo Jini well-wisher of Vivekananda Kendra and Vibhag Pramukh (Siang Vibhag) of Vivekananda Kendra Arunjyoti also attended the programme. The programme started with lighting of the lamp. Principal, VKV Jirdin felicitated the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour  and welcomed all the parents and invited guest for the day’s celebration. Followed by the momentous Chicago address of Swami Vivekananda was addressed by a student of class VIII. The significance of the day was elaborated by the English teacher Su. Kajal Neog Phukan.

State Award to Teachers Observed VKV Jirdin

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishnanan Teacher’s Day the Arunachal Pradesh Government organized State Award to Teachers,2018 in Banquet Hall, Itanagar. In the programme, thirty-nine selected teachers from various schools from the state attended the programme.

The Chief Guest of the programme was Dr. B. D. Mishra, Governor of Arunachal Pradesh. Shri. Honcham Ngandam, Education Minister Arunachal Pradesh was also present there. Besides Sri. Dekto Yekar MLA, Dapo, Secretary Shri. Rajiv Singh, Smt. Madhurani Teotia ( IAS) Education Secretary, Shri Topi Gao, Director of Elementary Education, Director of Secondary Education, Itanagar and other dignitaries, teachers and school students were present there. The programme was started with lighting of the lamp. Students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Vivek Vihar presented a patriotic song.

The Chief Guest Dr. B.D. Mishra, Governor of Arunachal Pradesh felicitated the selected teachers by offering shawl, cash money Rs.15, 000 and a certificate to all the selected teachers.  Sri. Janardan Singh Yadav of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya- Jirdin was one among the thirty-nine teachers.
