Road Safety Programme Conducted - VKV Koloriang

Road Safety Program with the Theme “Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Suraksha” was conducted by the AP Police Department, Koloriang as an awareness program at VKV Koloriang on 16.01.2020. SI N.Tao, OC Koloriang Police station was the resource person. In his address highlighted the various do’s and don’ts while driving vehicles such as Motorcycle, Scooty or cars on the road and also while walking on the road. He presented the data of the accident happening everyday due to over speed, drink and drive and breaking traffic rules.  He said “such accidents can be avoided by following traffic rules and save the lives of near and dear one”. He cited the examples from Koloriang of various accidents happened recently due to disobey of the traffic rules. Pamphlets were distributed containing various traffic rules and appealed the students to spread the message to their parents, elder brothers and sisters and to the society. Students from Class IV to VIII participated in the program.

National Youth Day Celebrated - VKV Koloriang

VKV Koloriang has celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2020 to commemorate the 157th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, at the school premises. Various literary and cultural activities were organized as a part of the program. Sri Bengia Tagu, Former Anchal Samiti Member, Koloriang was the Chief Guest of the program. The program started with welcome song by students. Pritam Prasun Kairi, Hindi teacher of the Vidyalaya briefed the importance of the day. Chief Guest in his speech highlighted the role of youth in the nation building process and appealed not to forget the parents as well as teacher’s role in shaping the future of the students. He remarks “Students are the future leaders and rulers of the nation and if guided properly in right time, they are going to be great resources for the nation building. School days are the golden days in the life of human being in which most of the learning take place which guide the rest of the life”.  He motivated the students to inculcate the feeling of love, peace and brotherhood and also appealed to spread them among the people for the progress and prosperity of the society and the nation as a whole.  The program was attended by the parents, Govt. officers, SMC members and many other dignitaries

Kalpataru Diwas Celebrated - VKV Koloriang

VKV Koloriang has observed the Kalpataru Diwas on 2nd January 2020 (for 1st January) to commemorate the revelation of Sri Ramakrishna himself to be an avatar on this day in 1886. Importance of the day was told by Sri Ramesh Yadav, Hindi teacher of the vidyalaya.   Life and teaching of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and the various inspirational situations were highlighted in the morning assembly. Students were motivated to read books on the life of Sri Ramakrishna. All the students from Class I to VIII and staffs were present during the program

National Mathmatics Day Celebrated - VKV Koloriang

National Mathematics Day is being observed at VKV Koloriang on 22nd December 2019 at school auditorium hall with great pomp and show to mark the 132nd birth anniversary of Srinivas Ramanujan. Sri Pankaj Boruah, Mathematics teacher of the Vidyalaya highlighted the life and contribution of Sri S. Ramanujan in the field of mathematics. Various fundamental concepts of mathematics and their importance in day to day life were briefed to the students. Drawing of mathematical shapes, charts and models exhibition by the students and Quiz on the fundamental mathematics were the part of the program. All the students of the Vidyalaya attended the program. Finally, Students were encouraged to learn mathematics with easy and simple ways in their day to day life

Sadhana Diwas Celebrated - VKV Koloriang

Sadhna Diwas is being observed today i.e. on 19th November 2019 in VKV Koloriang to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade. Importance of the day was told by Sri Pritam P. Kairi, Hindi teacher of the Vidyalaya. The Golden Jubilee celebration of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Sampark Karya was briefed to the students. The challenges and the untiring efforts of Maneeniya Eknathji for the construction of the memorial at Kanyakumari were also highlighted. Finally the students were encouraged to acquire the good qualities from the life of Eknathji and to work with dedication and commitment.    Painting competition on the portrait of Eknathji and interaction program by VKV Alumni was organized as a part of the observation. Er. Pani Jubi, JE(Education) Alumni member, first batch of VKV Koloriang, interacted with the students and took a swadhyay session of about one hour.
