Drilling of General Election Conducted - VKV Shergaon

We have conducted a drilling of General Election with an intention to make students practically known about the whole election system. The students of classes IX, X, XI and XII participated in it. The students themselves made their parties manifesto. The whole students divided in to two groups with their candidate and symbols namely Kr. Rajkumar Jaobanta Singh, Class-X and Km. Phurpa Lhamu, Class-XI.

The Mock Drill of General Election On 21st January 2020, we have conducted a drilling of General Election with an intention to make students practically known about the whole election system. The students of classes IX, X, XI and XII participated in it. The students themselves made their parties manifesto. The whole students divided in to two groups with their candidate and symbols namely Kr. Rajkumar Jaobanta Singh, Class-X and Km. Phurpa Lhamu, Class-XI.

The Mock Drill of General Election has been done at Projector Hall from 10.10 am to 10.50 am. Total number of students is 60 of above mention classes. 05 students were absent. In the hall , the student as a voter went to polling agent who check the name and voter list, then to the polling officer who gave the Ballot Paper and separate place was made to caste the vote by tamping. Lastly put ballot paper in a Ballot Box. The students got the experience of voter as how to exercise the suffrage right. Principal Sri Satish Kumar was the observer and Sri Pradip Karki sir was polling officer while Miss Leki Wangmu was polling agent.

The entire programme has been conducted by the NSS Special Camp under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Sri Pradip Karki along with the Social Science teacher Sri Netra Bahadur Gurung.s been done at Projector Hall from 10.10 am to 10.50 am. Samartha Bharat Parva Conducted - VKV Koloriang

Samartha Bharat Parva is being commenced at VKV Koloriang on 25th December 2019 at school premises and will continue till 12th January 2020. The Parva started with the speech by Principal on meaning and importance of Samartha Bharat Parva in which 25th December as Rashtra Chintan Diwas to 12th January as Rashtra Yuva Diwas.

During the duration of Samartha Bharat Parva, we have the following agenda:

  1. Daily singing of Vande Mataram in the morning Assembly.
  2. Speaking on the India’s contribution to the world in different fields by all teachers and some students.
  3. Offering of flowers on the image of Bharat Mata daily.
  4. Power point presentation of the glorious Bharat and its contribution, with the help of projector.
  5. Daily Bharat mata aarati in the evening prayer.
  6. Daily Chintan Manthan on the glory of Bharat among all staffs after evening prayer for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Competitions- Quiz, Essay and drawing on Bharat mata, Glory of Bharat and various contributions to be conducted on 7th January 2020.
  8. On 12th January 2020, conclusion with celebration of Rashtra Yuva Diwas by inviting Parents, well-wishers and students.

Constitution Day Celebrated - VKV Shergaon

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Shergaon NSS Unit organised a wonderful programme in a befitting manner on the occasion of “Constitution Day” as a part of “EK BHARAT SHRESTHA BHARAT”. The programme began at morning assembly with importance of the day followed by NSS programme Officer Sri Pradip Karki and short speech by Principal Sri Satish Kumar.

 As a part of oath taking programme , Rajkumar Jasobanta Singh, a student of Class-X and Sakshi Sharma a student of Class-VIII read the preamble in English and Hindi respectively in morning assembly which was followed by other students . At 9.45 A.M. There was a procession with play card and slogans that  covered a distance of  3km from our institution. This was followed by a debate competition on the topic ‘ Indian Constitution’ and power point presentation on  Article 51A and Indian Constitution.  All the teaching faculty and 345 students participated actively  with great enthusiasm in procession. The programme was concluded with chanting of “Shanti Mantra”.
