Guru Purnima Celebrated - VKV Banderdewa

Guru Purnima is celebrated at VKV PTC Banderdewa on 8th day of July Month 2020. All staff members were present in the programme.  Here are few points how Guru Purnima is celebrated .

1.One of our main programme Guru Purnima is celebrated at VKV PTC Banderdewa,  around 9.30am it started and upto  11.00 am it over.

  1. A local priest Shri. Taki Tamut conducted the programme by following traditional Donyi Polo rituals. He is Priest of Gangin of PTC Banderdewa.

3.All the teachers participated  in the programme except Shri. Tako Siga .

  1. The programme began with the chanting of three Omkaras followed by Eikya Mantra.
  2. Shri. Vijay Kr. Tehariya the Principal of the School spoke about the importance of the day.He explained the main Moto of VKV that is Man making nation building. Next he told that in the year 1977 Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh called VKV Trust to start VKV Schools as it is one of the remote part of India and for the development of area good education is required. After that only Guru Shishya Way of teaching was started with a small unit of only 7 schools, as changing time turn the years and now at present total 40 VKV   are running smoothly   and earns one by one glory from years. One of the greatest achievement of VKV  is that in the year 2020  result of recent APSC prove it,  in total 21 passed out officers are the product of VKV only. So it’s a mile stone for VKV Pariwar.
  3. Next the priest was felicitated by the principal of VKV PTC Banderdewa.

7.The Priest delivered a short speech before performing the rituals and sung local  donyi-polo bhajan in local dialect. He explained about the culture and tradition of Donyi –polo at the same time he told about the person who started Donyi-polo,  shri. Talom Rukbo. Overall very nicely he explained that donyi-polo is same as Hinduism and told  about the dharma and sanskriti of Donyi-polo.

  1. One of the staff member shri. Kalyan Kr. Dutta read out the Letter  of Mananiya  Nivedita Didi.
  2. Guru Vandana Bhajan was sung in lead and follow method. Guru struta (audio) was played.
  3. With two minutes of Dhyan, the programme was concluded with the chanting of Shanti Mantra.

Mahasamadhi Diwas Conducted - VKV Joram

History makes great man, but in some cases a few of the great men are the makers of history. Swami Vivekananda was such a personality, who gave a new course to history. He introduced a new stream of thought and work. He had his own style of approach to the worldly life and philosophy. He reinterpreted the fundamental truths of Indian philosophy in a relevant manner for the modern world.

“Maha Samadhi” of our great Son of Bharat Swami Vivekananda was observed on 4th July 2020 at 09:15 am in VKV Joram premises in the presence of 10 teaching staffs, 3 non-teaching staffs as well as two students by maintaining the social distance . The formal programme began with lighting of the lamp and the garlanding of the portrait of Swami Vivekananda by Sri Probhat Newar.Then the programme started with three OM Kararas and Shanti Path leaded by Sri Ashish Kumar and followed by all.

After that Sri Ashish Kumar, the Hindi teacher delivered a short valuable speech on the significance of the day. In his address Sri Ashish Kumar, asked all to emulate the life of Swami Vivekananda.This speech was recorded by Sri Samiran Barua as an audio clip and later he forwarded it to class wise Whats app group .

“Life is eternal and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon. And a horizon is nothing save the limits of our sights.” In his 118th death anniversary all the staffs and students tribute a song to Swami Vivekananda titled  “Bhuvan Mandale.” Followed by this song Sri Pranjal Kumar Das, the Mathematics teacher conducted Swadhyaya on ‘Life of Swami Vivekananda.’ In this discussion all the members of the ceremony took part and shared some incidents related to Swamiji’s life.Finally, all the teaching, non-teaching staffs and students paid floral tributes at Swami Vivekananda’s portrait.The programme ended at 12:00 pm with Shanti Mantra.

Guru Purnima Celebrated - VKV Balijan

VKV Balijan has celebrated Guru Purnima on 5th July 2020 at 6pm in the school prayer hall wherein all teaching and non-teaching staffs of the campus with family were present. Sri. J.P. Mishra has conducted entire proceedings as per the letter received from Man.Nivedita Didi.  Sri. J.P. Mishra highlighted the significance of the day. “The Guru reveals all the secrets of life and bestows wisdom on us.  So, Guru Purnima or Vyas Purnima is the day to celebrate and pay our respects and regards to our Guru”, he said.  Smt. Anjali Das has briefed the gist of the letter received from Man. Nivedita Didi on Guru Purnima as a part of programme.  Campus students and the Snehavardhini group of VKV Balijan presented a bhajan and nam kirtan on Guru respectively.

To ensure the participation of the students at home, class teachers were asked to be in contact with our students in advance. In this regard, an audio was prepared by narrating a story of the importance of Guru on one’s life by Sri. J.P. Mishra sir and the same were delivered to them through whatsapp few days back.  On the basis of audio, they were asked to prepare a story on Guru/Self-composed poem on Guru/Bhajan on Guru if any on or before 4th July. I am happy to inform you that there was a positive response from various corners as a poem, bhajan and story. As a part of the programme, the selected items of the same were showed with the help of the projector in front of the audience today.
