Report on Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions.

3rd August 2020  Raksha Bandhan the auspicious day celebrated at VKV Basar . The concept of Raksha Bandhan has a much wider concept beyond the raksha of sister by her brother, the mutual commitment of safe-guard, protections, and bonding of us all each other in our family, organisation, our school’s all stake holders and the society.

This year due to Covid 19 Pandemic, there are lots of restrictions on people meeting each other even on the occasion of Radsha Bndhan due to the following of social distancing norms. But all the teaching staffs and non teaching staffs made this occasion happened.

We started this Raksha Bandhan programme with 3 omkara and shanty mantra Followed by speech on Importance of the day by Smt. Mamon Acharya Followed by few words from Bhima didi (principal)

After that Rakhi tie ceremony was performed. Each and every staff tied Rakhi to each other.

Followed by 1 min of meditation, we took sankalp on Raksha Bandhan that we will always take care of nature and all the humanity, our behaviour,our every step should be in the favor of the society, and nature.

In this Raksha bandhan, we also tried to spread the message that we have a responsibility to protect Environment form getting hurt. Every individual should tie rakhi to all nearby plants and animal.This way we can spread love towards Environment.  

Guru Purnima Celebrated - VKV Basar

Guru Purnima event was celebrated on 6 July 2020 at VKV Basar with full of enthusiasm. This day is celebrated to aware all the participants about our rich cultural heritage of “Guru-Shishya Parampara”. It was celebrated to make the people understand and realize the importance of guru in their lives. 2 (two) priest from central Kargu Gamgi were invited in this event. Mr. Marken Doke ji and Mr. Mago Doke ji with all the executive bodies of Kargu Gamgi witnessed the event.

We have started our Guru purnima celebration from 9:00 am. Program was started with 3 omkara and Sahana Bhavatu followed by inviting both the priest to occupied their honorable seat, then introduction of ‘Guru purnima’ were given by principal didi. After that most precious moment of the day that is felicitation to the invitee priest done by SSC member of VKV Basar Mr. Migo Basar and Mr. Nyape Basar. After felicitation “Guru Stotra” was played and everyone closed their eyes and listened carefully. All the “guru” or we can say teachers were dedicated by beautiful Donyi polo prayer song, which was followed by Group discussion on the given reference discussion point.  Then Meditation with guru stotra was done and after that, priests were chanted for wellbeing of VKV Basar. We concluded our programme with shanti path (Sharve Bhabantu

It was really a very grand celebration. Teachers, all the executive bodies and Karyakartas of Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti were present during the program. Programme was held for 1 hr and it went successfully with blessings from priest.

 

Rama Krishna Jayanthi Conducted - VKV Basar

On 18th February 2020, Thakur Ramakrishnan Jayanti was observed in our school. Principal sir spoke on the significance of the day and narrates all the incidents from the life of Thakur Sri Ramakrishna.One Patriotic song was performed by the girls of class IV students at the end of Assembly flower offering was done by students and staff members

Saraswati Puja Celebrated - VKV Basar

Saraswati Puja was celebrated on 29.01.2020. the Puja was performed by shri Janardan Singh Yadav  and shri Gyanandara Bandhari. There was Saraswati pujan, Arti Followed by Saraswati Bhajan by class I students. All the students, teaching and non teaching staffs offered flower to Goddess of Knowledge and distributed parasad to the students.

71st REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION VKV BASAR

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in our school with much enthusiasm. In the early morning at 6:30 we started prabhat phere along with 150 students.

At sharp 7 am we hoisted tri-colour flag with great patriotic zeal. Su Kenny Hokom didi spoke on the importance of the day as well as precious words she appealed all the students to have the tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives for sake of Mother India. At 8 am we proceed to general ground of Basar were our parade team gave an impressive show. Among 24 March Past troops from various schools in the ground, VKV Basar bagged the second prize in March past and received a trophy from hands of Honorable S.P smt. Shweta Chauhan.

Moreover Lezims demonstrated by total 50 students of class IV and V students gave their best effort which was also appreciated.
