Teachers’ Day observed at VKV Tezu

5th September; Tezu: VKV Tezu celebrated Teachers’ Day with zeal and zest on 5th Sep’18. There was an atmosphere of joy and gay among the children. The students of class IX & X took over the duties of the teachers. A special assembly was held in which the students paid homage to their teachers through speech and tokens of love. There were two guests: Sri A Gambre, the President, IFCSAP, Lohit & Sri S Ngadong, GB of Loiliang Village who witnessed the assembly. Both of them felicitated the winners of literary programmes conducted by IFCSAP, Tezu on 2nd September. In their speech they lauded the entire students and staff for their contribution to the school’s phenomenal success. A small cultural show was performed by the students of class IX to entertain the teachers.

Sri Krishna Janmastami celebrated at VKV Tezu with gaiety

2nd September; Tezu: Sri Krishna Janmastami, the birthday of Lord Krishna was celebrated at VKV Tezu with great devotion and enthusiasm on 2nd September. Children converted the classrooms into colourful tableaux depicting the story of Lord Krishna’s birth. The dahi handi (pot breaking) ritual was part of the celebration where senior students participated to reach and hit the earthen pot containing milk and chocolate suspended in the rope. House wise competitions: bhajan, gita chanting and Radha Krishna display were among the students.   

 

Raksha Bandhan Celebration at VKV Tezu

26thAugust; Tezu: Raksha Bandhan the festival of virtuous bonding and exchange of love among brothers & sisters and fostering brotherhood among people was a special occasion for the students & staff of VKV Tezu. The celebration marked with the tying of colourful rakhis of sisters to their brothers with rituals & tradition.  There was an assembly activity of fun and enjoyment. Aesthetically pooja thalis were arranged by girls comprising rakhi, roli-chawal, diya,flower and sweets which could brought the religious fervour of the moment.  To strengthen our bonding of love and enhancing our security and safety a group of girls along with teachers went to 9th BN ITBP camp, Lohitpur, Tezu for this sacred rakhi tying ceremony. ITBP expressed their inundated happiness and a sense of belongingness as though they were far away from their family and relatives.

 International Yoga Day - VKV Tezu

VKV Tezu observed International Yoga Day in a befitting manner involving its students and staff. At the very early morning students along with our staff participated in Prabhat Pheri along with District Administration spreading the awareness and importance of Yoga in our locality. There was a Yoga Session for the students of Class VI to Class X and staff, 170 in numbers between 6:15 am to 7:15 am in the school under the guidance of some trained teachers and students. We had also Yoga sessions for the students of primary section during school hour.

Literary competitions; Poster Design on “Surya Namaskar and Asanas” & Essay Writing on “Importance of Yoga in our day-to-day Life” were conducted among our Students.

 

National Youth Day Celebration - VKV Tezu

VKV Tezu celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti on 12/01/2018 on school premises, Sri Chhotaram Jat, the commandant 9th BN ITBP, Lohitpur, Arunachal Pradesh was invited as Chief Guest to grace the occasion.

Sri S.K Behera, the Principal of VKV Tezu welcomed the gathering. In his welcome address he highlighted the challenges faced by school from its start and how they overcame those challenges with the support of local administration and parents.

Sri P.K Pandey cluster in charge, threw light on Swamiji’s life. He also spoke about the achievement and dream of Swamiji and appealed the students to follow the path of Swamiji.

The students performed many programmes on the theme ‘Unity in Diversity’. They presented ‘Semi Classical Dance’, ‘Rabindra Sangeet’, ‘Patriotic Dance’, ‘Rag Pickers dance’, Skit on ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’, ‘Glimpses of Swami Vivekananda’, ‘Save Tree Save Life’ and ‘Early Marriage and Drug Addiction.

The Chief Guest praised the students for their immense spirit of performance and talent. In his speech he quotes ‘Swami Vivekananda is a perennial source of inspiration for every Indian and we have to consider him a book of interest and read its pages to enrich one’s life. He advised the youth to join ITBP for service of motherland and wished that he would be the part of such programme every year.
