Lego  EV3 ROBOTIC Competition Participated - VKV Vivek Vihar

 EVENT REPORT – Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, Innovation Hub, Department of Science & Technology, Government of Arunachal Pradesh organised a robotic competition on “THE LEGO EV3 ROBOTIC COMPETITION-2021”. The competition was held for the students of class 8 – 12 from various schools at Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, IG-Park, Itanagar on 20th February 2021. The mentor and trainer of the competition was Sri Subu Tarang, Innovation Hub Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre.

In the biggening total 30 students registered from our school to participate on the competition. In this regard hands on training program on robotics was held from 1st February to 13th February 2021 by Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, Innovation Hub. At first all the students from various school were divided into 7 groups in that only 5 groups (Einstein group, Lego B.D group, and Steampunk group. And two others) are selected for final competition.

On 20th February there were two round competition:

 THE FIRST ROUND – “OBJECT PLACING TRACK”: - In the first round we had to programme the robot in such a way that the robot should take one tree (made of blocks) and put in the red boxes, for lifting the tree has 5 points and putting has 10 points (total - 15 points) there were four boxes and 5 trees, but there is a rule that we have to put the trees in the different boxes, if we put the trees by the Lego robot in the same boxes there will be no points of putting down.

Each group had three chances in every rounds. In the first round (Object placing Track) the Steampunk group got 1st position (This group is of the members of science centre)

THE 2ND ROUND (FINAL) - "SUMO”: - Here the two groups have been selected as 1st and 2nd

 CERTIFICATE OF AWARD: - In final round “SUMO” our school VKV VIVEK VIHAR got 1st and 2nd position. The competition mainly focused on Robotics. It was a great learning experience, as our students got an opportunity to get training, it would be very useful for their future. The workshop concluded with prize and certificates distribution and photo session.

Republic Day Celebration - VKV Vivek Vihar

 VKV Vivek Vihar celebrated the 72nd Republic Day with pride & patriotism in the school premise. The Principal, Teachers & students left no stone unturned in making this monumental day a memorable one. The Principal of the school Sri. Ravindran unfurled the National flag & everybody stood straight for the National Anthem. The cultural function opened with an inspiring speech of the honorable Principal where the great patriots who made ultimate sacrifice for the countries freedom were remembered. Following it, patriotic song & drawing competition for children’s of class VIII to X was conducted. A short  speech was delivered by Km. Vidya Sah of standard VIII to explain the significance of the day. A vote of thanks was tabled by Sri. SNS Yadav Sir. The Programme concluded with Shanti Mantra.

National Youth Day Celebrated - VKV Vivek Vihar

 Swami Vivekananda‘s 158th birth anniversary and 37th National Youth Day in a befitting manner in the school prayer hall.Students, Parents and all the staff members attended the programme. Principal of the school Sri. Ravindran welcomed gathering. He said that man making, nation building motto of Vivekananda Kendra is significant to the modern youth. Sri. Noko Nobin (an alumnus of VKV Seijosa) Manager Indian Bank Naharlagun was the chief guest. He said that tireless works of teachers made thousands of nationalistic citizens. He also advised the children to be self-disciplined and not to give up to achieve the target. Sri. SNS Yadav delivered a speech on the significance on the day. The students of the school presented a beautiful cultural programme. Sri. M.R Ramesh Kumar proposed vote of thanks.

Gita Jayanti and Samartha Bharat Parva  Celebrated  - VKV Vivek Vihar

 Gita Jayanti and Samartha Bharat Parva was celebrated in our School Prayer Hall along with the presence of all staff members and the children who participated in the Gita competition.
On the auspicious occasion, the inaugural speech was addressed by honorable Principal Shri. M.V. Ravindran and then importance of the Gita Jayanti was told by Shri. Ashok Kumar Mishra. He told the students and the teachers about the importance of Shrimad Bhagvad Gita, how we can inculcate the teachings of Srimad bhagvad Gita in our daily life. Kr. Utkarsh Karn and Km. Vidya Sah from class VIII performed Gita Chanting and explained the meaning of Gita individually.
Next, Introduction session regarding Samartha Bharat Parv was given by Shri. M.R. Ramesh sir. He explained the glorious past of India, her achievements in various fields etc.
At last, Bharat Mata Aarati was performed by Shri. Moolchand Sharma, then all staff members followed it. Programme concluded with Kendra Prayer.

 

Workshop On " Idea , Innovation and Technology For Teachers and Students " Observed - VKV Vivek Vihar

 

 Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, Innovation Hub, Department of Science & Technology, Government of Arunachal Pradesh organised a three-days’ Workshop On “Idea, Innovations and Technology For teachers, Students and Entrepreneurs”. The workshop which was organized for teachers, students and Entrepreneurs conducted at Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, IG-Park, Itanagar on 18, 19 and 20 November 2020. The resource persons were Shri Dr. Suprakash Roy, Senior Lecture and Mr. Sudipta Das, Senior Lecturer, Department of Technical Education & Training. Govt. Of West Bengal. The three days’ Workshop began with welcome address and speech by resource person and chief guest with maintaining proper SOP's. a talk was done by Dr. Suprakash Roy on idea, innovation and technology. There they also included the idea about Entrepreneurship. Various schools like Holy Cross, Auxilium, GGS Police Colony, VKV Vivek Vihar and Innovation Hub Members were participated the workshop. All the participants were divided into Groups and leaders for each group was chosen and Finally, the name of groups done and the idea of each groups was shared with judges and the process of making documentation was explained to all the groups. Name of School (Groups) and their Project: - VKV Vivek Vihar (Innovative Generation) - INK STATION, Holy cross school - Natural Hair Colour, Auxilium School - Cigarette butt pouch Manure Sprinkle, GSS Police colony – Machine, Innovation Hub Members - Abhay Bhumi, Social distancing device and Assistant Scientific officers - Air cooler cum Aquarium, Eco Friendly usage of Phyrnium Capitatum leaves, Recycle, Re- use of Paper waste. Talk by local entrepreneur: - a women entrepreneur from Arunachal Pradesh attended the workshop to share her experience and then all the groups sat together with their group members and discussed about the project and the idea in which they were working. Project Submission & Presentation: - Each group was presented their projects and ideas and various types questions were asked by judges on their projects and ideas. Finally, our school VKV VIVEK VIHAR was selected as the “BEST PRESENTATION PROJECT” at a three-days’ workshop and got FIRST PRIZE on above project. The session mainly focused on Ideas and Innovation, it was a great learning experience, as our students got an opportunity to attained workshop, it would be very useful on their future. The workshop revolved around active discussions among the students, teachers and the resource persons. The workshop concluded with prize distribution and photo session
