Solar Ambassador Workshop (GGSY)  Conducted - VKV Vivek Vihar

A workshop of Students solar ambassador was conducted for students of Class VII -IX on 13/09/2019 at 11 Am. Sri RK. Altekar sir, mentors shri Bulakee Ram, Manoj kumar, Aanand Bilagi, and VB Deshai along with principal VKV Vivek Vihar attended the workshop. Total 43 students and 4 mentors participated in it. Three resource persons from APSC came with the solar lamp kits and gave a clear idea about GGSY programme to the students. And then they introduced the toolkits and demonstrated to prepare solar lamp. students were very curious to make their own solar lamp. All the students and mentors could able to make their own solar lamp. Soon after the preparation of lamp shri RK.Altekar sir briefed to the students that a tentative programme would be scheduled for final event of GGSY on 2nd October 2019, at IG Park, Itanagar.

 

Universal Brotherhood Day  Celebrated  - VKV Vivek Vihar

Universal Brotherhood day was celebrated on 11th September 2019(Wednesday) at 9 am in the School Prayer Hall. Parents of Class X Students, Class VI-X Students and all the Teachers attended the programme.Principal gave the welcome address. He highlighted the ideologies of Vivekananda Kendra and Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat”   

Dr.Tayek Talum, Director of Higher and Technical Education, govt.  of Arunachal Pradesh was the Chief Guest. He stressed the following points.

  • Message of Universal brotherhoodness.
  • Struggle undertaken by Swami Vivekananda to take part in the World Parliament of Religions.
  • The need for discipline .
  • Swamiji spread the scientific knowledge of India.

The significance of the day was delivered by Sri. Srinarayan Singh Yadav, Hindi Teacher of our Vidyalaya. Public meeting was followed by indigenous cultural programme by the Children. The celebration concluded with Shantimantra.

Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations - VKV Vivek Vihar

The school organized a Radha Krishna competition for Class 1students.Parents of class 1 was also invited. The students were asked to participate in Radha and Krishna competition separately. Out of 84 students 50 students participated in the competition( 21 Krishnas and 29 Radhas).14 Krishnas and 14  Radhas were awarded as the best. The significance of the day was told by Shri A.K. Mishra (Sanskrit Teacher) .


A Bhajan competition (hostel wise) in connection with Janmasthmi for the hostel was also organized in the evening where the hostel girls of class 6 to 10 participated.

Independence Day Celebration - VKV Vivek Vihar

We celebrated 73rd Independence Day at VKV Vivek Vihar with infinite zeal and passion .The students from Cl- II to X participated in the programme . The National Flag was unfurled by our Principal Sir at 8.00 am. In his speech he commemorates with gratitude the countless freedom fighters and revolutionaries who struggled, strived, and made heroic sacrifice to win freedom from colonial rule.

Km.Puzum Zirdo Cl-VIII B  also spoke about the importance of Independence Day .In her speech, she mentioned about the people who fought for the independence of the country and dedicate ourselves to the service of this great nation .

Raksha Bandhan Celebration - VKV Vivek Vihar

In India ,Raksha bandhan celebration are about strengthening the bond of love between brothers and sisters and fostering brotherhood .Likewise, in our school Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya ,Vivek Vihar also celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 15 August .

The function was started with santimantra .The students from class-II to X were present on that day . Total number  565 students and 26 teachers were attended the program .The auspicious program concluded with Kendra Parthana .

A group  of students went to R.K.Mission hospital ,tied Raksha Sutra to Swamiji  ,staff members and all patients on 15-08-2019 escorted by Su.Siki Dutta
