District and State Level Model Making Competition on“Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency” - VKV Vivek Vihar

Eligibilty of Students :  Class (IX to XII)

 District Level :

  • Venue: Kingcup Public school, Itanagar,Date : 11 Feb 2018
  • Two students of class IX were selected for this competition .They got 2ndposition in district level.
  • Students got a cash prize of Rs. 3000 and qualify for State level competition.

 State Level : 

  • Venue:  APEDA, Itanagar  and Date : 18 Feb 2018
  • Our students performed well in State level and the model was highly appreciated by NERIST professor and APEDA officials.
  • We won 2ndposition in State Level  and got cash prize of Rs. 4000 with certificate and the Guide teacher got Rs. 1000 for their proper guidance to develop the Model.
  • The whole project of Model Making was guided by Shri.Gupta Bigop Parida.

 

 

 

Matri Puja - VKV Vivek Vihar

A ‘MATRI PUJA’ was conducted at VKV Vivek Vihar School Prayer Hall on 14th February2018 at 3.30 pm for the mothers of the students of Class-X.

At the outset, the respective wards washed the feet of their mothers with water in a ceremonial and holistic way at the threshold of the Prayer Hall.

The auspicious occasion was graced by respected Sri R. Krishna Kumar, Member, VKVAPT,Dibrugarh.

The Principal of the host school, Sri Y. Pradip extended a hearty welcome to the August gathering of about 100 Parents of Class-X (both mother & father) and Well-wishers, Teachers and 60 Students of Class-X of the host school.  

He added, “Your moral support is our greatest strength as well as a great motivating factor.” On this auspicious occasion, Respected Sri.R Krishna kumar highlighted the importance of MATRI PUJA, emphasizing on the true meaning of DHARMA as one’s duty or responsibility.

He advised the assembly of the mothers to realize their power and requested them to inculcate good habits among their children.

He quoted various examples from the Mahabharata correlating mothers’ role in guiding and caring for their children.

He expressed his deepest gratitude to all the respected parents for being present on this auspicious occasion of this Matri Puja spite of their busy schedule.

He also explained elaborately about the greatness of our country and the importance of GURUKUL system wherein Spiritual and Secular education was imparted to their students by the Gurus.

 He highlighted upon the following points:

 We should treat our mother as GOD. Mother is the embodiment of love and Sacrifice.

Children’s duties re to fulfill the desires of their mothers.

Mothers only give, but do not take anything back in return.

Now-a-days there is adversity seen in the modern society. Children do not

take advice of their parents positively & do not look after & care for their

parents in their old age. In fact they send their old parents in “OLD AGE HOME”

Thereafter Matri Puja was performed religiously by Sri R. Krishna Kumar sir.

Universal Brotherhood Celebration

Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated at VKV Vivek Vihar school premises with complete fervour to mark the 124th Anniversary of the historic Chicago Address delivered by the great cyclonic monk of India, Swami Vivekananda.

Shri Prince Dhawan, IAS,  Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner, Capital Complex was the Chief Guest to grace the  occasion . 

Shri Pradeep Y., Principal VKV Vivek Vihar welcomed the happy assembly of Hon’ble Chief Guest, respected parents of Class-X, teaching faculty and the students of Classes VI to X of the host school. 

Hon’ble Chief Guest was felicitated on the occasion.

The significance of the day was highlighted by Shri Satish Kumar, Teacher of the host school.

A replica of the historic speech was given by Kumar Lizom Doye, a student of Class-V of the host school.

In his keynote address, Hon’ble Chief Guest motivated the children in taking active part in maintaining cleanliness. Stopping betrayal and making Arunachal Pradesh an ideal place to live in.

He stresses that Education is a 5 kilometre race in which the slow and steady will win.

He added that those who make enthusiasm in the beginning, but leave in between, can’t achieve success.

He made the children to remember the ideology of Swami Vivekananda and do justice to themselves, their family, their religion, country and finally the whole world.

The assembly was entertained with various cultural programmes like Patriotic Group Song, Local Galo Group Dance, Classical Duet Dance and a drama highlighting some glimpses from the life of Swami Vivekananda from his early childhood days until the time he delivered the historic Chicago Address at the Columbus Hall at Chicago on 11th September, 1893.

Finally the programme concluded with the National anthem.

Independence day  Celebration

Independence Day was celebrated in our school with gaiety and fervour.  At the outset the National Flag was hoisted in the school premises by Shri Y.Pradeep, Principal, VKV Vivek Vihar followed by his address to the assembly of students and teachers on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day.  It was followed by various programmes indoors (Prayer Hall).The programme began with lighting the lamp by Principal sir, with invocation (Mangalacharan) by Class-X students. Then there were House-wise Cultural competitions like Patriotic Solo Song and Group song.Interesting games like Spoon and Marble Race (House-wise) for Primary Children and ‘Temple Run Race’ were  also a part of the Independence Day celebration this year.

A report on Janmashtami Celebration 2017

 Janmashtami was celebrated on 14th August 2017. Several cultural programmes were organised.

 Radha – Krishna competition was organised for class I students, Parents of class I were also invited for the same. There were 30 students for the Radha competition & 9 students for Krishna competition. Our teachers’ Su Deepika Nath, Su Namita Taye & Su Takhe Yaja, They made the judgement and 10 best Radha participants were selected. All 09 Krishna participants were also selected for the prizes. There were 49 Parents were attended the meeting.

 There was a drama based on Krishna Janmashtami and a group dance by hostel students of class (II to 5). The results were declared on the same day itself and the programme ended with Shantimantra.
