Essay Writing Competition & Work shop Conducted - VKV Vivek Vihar

 

Swami Vivekananda has said that “They alone live, who live for others.” It is our privilege to recollect the life of Swamiji, Eknathji and the significance of magnificent The Rock Memorial by an essay writing Competition. Writing an essay improves ones skill with the word, syllable, style, that is so necessary for everyday life. Keeping this in our mind we motivated, trained, guided and encouraged students to write this.

The Essay writing Competition details are as follow;

Date: 09-11-2019

Venue:  In the respective classes.

Time: 8.40 to 9.40am i.e. in the 1st and 2nd periods.

 Soon after the competition all language teachers distributed the papers for correction and finally we gathered again to select first, second, third and two consolation prizes.

School Science Exhibition Organized by NIT Observed - VKV Vivek Vihar

A Report on inter school science exhibition organized by NIT, yupiaAn interschool science exhibition was organized by NIT(National institute of technology),Yupia on 1st Nov 2019.
Two groups from class x and class viii comprising of 3 members each participated in the exhibition.Group 1(class x)

The group secured consolation cash prize of Rs.1000/-

The group secured 2nd position and won a cash prize of Rs.3000/-

CBSE Capacity Building Program on Career Guidance- VKV Vivek Vihar

This program was aimed for the students who are willing  to pursue their career in various fields viz. Medical , Engineering ,Administrator ,Actor , Tourism management ,chartered accountant ,Architect  , Computer Hardware Engineers , Software Engineers , Scientists , Researchers , Professors and News Reader etc.

On day 1 session 1  The introductory session taken by Dr. Anamika Yadav ,Asst. Professor ,Dept of Education , Rajiv Gandhi University,Duimukh ,Itanagar . Attended by 15 teachers from various schools . the session was about to understand the students mentality about what career he/ she want to take in  near future. Then we must listen carefully about the students view according to that we have the acceptability about the students thoughts if it is positive . Then the very important work to guide them about the various career perspectives  he/ she want to opt for what are the pros and cons of the career he / she want to take .

      On day 1 Session 2 Was about various activities and case studies on the various situations so that students will not be misguided, it was more information about  various universities and colleges available in India and the academic courses available in those institutions

      On day 2 session 1  Was about the dimensions of career information in this the resource person discussed for guiding young people in making realistic career choices , it is important for the counselors and teachers to understand each dimension of career in detail and collect the appropriate information these details will help the counselors and teachers to distinguish between what can be expected in different jobs and also between jobs within each occupational group .

      On day 2 session 2 Was about educational and personal requirements in order to take admission by the students in various professional or vocational courses , a student needs to know the educational and personal requirements of the chosen course . The students can enter the educational course or training after different levels of educational course or training after different levels of education such as General Education , Secondary Education , Senior Secondary education , Graduation ,Post Graduation and Doctoral degrees and need to provide certain information to their students such as abilities , interest , social skills , emotional stability , maturity , work related attitude and values and personal values and concerns .

            The overall program was very good  and it was a pleasure to attend the program it was knowledgeable and informative .

Student Solar Ambassador program at Arunachal Pradesh Observed - VKV Vivek VIhar

On 2nd October 2019,  we went to  attend the Student Solar Ambassador program at Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, Itanagar . We had attended the programme and workshop along with 108 students, Principal Shri M.V.Ravindran, the mentors Shri. Bulakee Ram, Shri.Manoj Kumar Panda, Shri Vikas Balasaheb Desai, Shri Anand Bilagi and escort teachers  Shri R.W Rajaram and Sushree Siki Dutta reached at Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre in IG Park on the aforesaid date morning at 8 o’clock. At the APSC, we received the solar kits from the In charge Shri Vivek Kumar, curator. We got a very good hands-on experience on assembling the solar lamps and our students also gained knowledge regarding renewable energy and solar lamps. All the mentors also helped the students to assemble the solar lamps.

We went to the function addressed by Honorable Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu and Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein. There all the students pledged not to harm the environment and to use the renewable energy. Some students were invited on to the stage to join the honorable chief minister to take the pledge and lighted the solar lamp as a mark to use renewable energy. At last all the students and mentors and escort teachers returned from the programme with their ambition to use renewable energy further the overall performance of the students in the student Solar Ambassador  Programme was excellent

Gandhi Jayanthi & Swatchata hi Seva “ programme Celebrated - VKV Vivek Vihar

VKV Vivek Vihar celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with a mass cleaning drive inside and outside the school. This was also the culmination of the ‘Swatchata hi Seva “ programme which was going on.

Accordingly selected students along with their teachers went for cleaning areas of Police Colony, Vivek Vihar and Chandra Nagar. The cleaning work was appreciated by everyone.
