REPORT ON INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

International Yoga Day was celebrated in our school on 21st June 2019. A mass Yoga display was performed on the school ground with the help of students, teachers and other staff members of VKV, Seijosa and nearby schools.

The programme was inaugurated by Sri. T.R. Tapu, ADC, Seijosa at 07:00 am.

All participants enthusiastically performed warming exercises, Yogasanas, Breathing exercises, Pranayama and Meditation.

During the address of chief guest he explained the importance of Yoga in our daily life.

There were 383 participants in the mass display of Yoga.

The programme ended with Shanti Manta at 08:30 am.

Swami. Purushotam Prakash Ji School Visited - VKV Seijosa

Swami. Purushotam Prakash Ji accompanied by Sri. Rupesh Mathur Ji & Sri. Sanjay Pandiya reached VKV, Seijosa on 30th May 2019.

They attended the school morning assembly. Swami Ji addressed the students gathering (Class-VIII to X) in the new Prayer cum Dining hall. He motivated the students to concentrate in study. Only study is not everything, character building is also important. He also addressed the teachers gathering in the teachers staff room. He praised the teachers for contributing for the nation building by forgetting all their regional differences and comfort.

Swami Ji also made a round in the hostel block and enquired about the smooth functioning of the school. Finally they left the school at 11 am

NATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Seijosa in collaboration with Nivedita Vihar celebrated the Swami Vivekananda Jayanti as National Youth Day on 12th January 2019 in the new Prayer cum Dining Hall.

Honourable Deputy Commissioner of Pakke Kessang district Sri. Tamuna Messar was invited as a chief guest to grace the occasion. Honourable Additional Deputy Commissioner Sri. T. R. Tapu and C.O. of Seijosa also graced the occasion as a guest of honour. The SSG members, well wishers and parents of both the school attended the programme.

 The guests were received with Rikam Pada Dance. The Principal of VKV, Seijosa welcomed the guests and highlighted the significance of the day and presented the brief report of the school.

 Honourable Deputy Commissioner & ADC in their speech, highlighted the contribution of Swamiji and also the service offered by VKVs in Arunachal Pradesh. They also advised the students to become a good citizen of India by getting quality education in VKVs.

 The students of both the school displayed their cultural items like Dance, Drama & Patriotic songs.

 It was a very colourful programme and all the guests, parents and students enjoyed a lot. Finally, the occasion was concluded with Shanti Mantra.

Kalpataru Divas Celebration

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Seijosa celebrated Kalpataru Divas on 1st January 2019. Sri. Thakur Das Mahato delivered a speech about the Importance of the day.

Nature Education Trail Programme  Observed - VKV Seijosa

The students of Class-IX and Class-VI attended the Nature Education Trail Programme on 28th Nov & 6th Dec 2018 respectively. For Class-IX, it was a residential camp & for Class-VI it was only one day camp.

 We along with the students reported at West Bank NIC Centre at 06:45 AM and the entire NCF and Pakke Tiger Reserve team welcomed us and escorted in the Khari Village which is 12 KMS away from West Bank.
