VKV Kuporijo Celebrates Universal Brotherhood Day on 11th September 2016

On the occasion Dr. Nyage Gei, District Medical Officer, Daporijo  was the chief guest.   He recalled his connection with Swami Vivekananda movement in Arunachal Pradesh. He urged the students to develop the habit of hard work and follow the ideology of Swami Vivekananda. Kr. Mato Kyamdo delivered the speech which was delivered by Swamiji at Chicago. Sri Ashis Chatterjee , Principal VKV Kuporijo widely appealed  all to actively involve themselves to follow the path of Swami Vivekananda.  Around 259 well wishers, parents & students attended the programme. A cultural programme was also arranged.

GURU PURNIMA Celebrated in VKV Kuporijo on 25Th July

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Guru puja was done in the prayer hall of the school with spiritual tradition. Km. Kibi Dugi and Kr. Rajesh Rai class - X , spoke on the importance of the day. Guru puja was led by Km. Yade Dai Class X, with vedic slokas and mantras. All class X students sought blessing from gurus. All students offered
flowers to Omkara.
Students presented Guru Bhajans . Attendance -   Boys -  192,  Girls - 246, Teachers - 14

Sri Ashis Chatterjee, The Principal of the school read letter of Nivedita Didi  which was sent on the occasion of Guru Purnima. Sri Kalyanam Bharadwaj explained the meaning of Kendra Prarthana. All teachers discussed and presented their views . It was unanimously agreed that each one of us will go through  the book 'Goal and the Way'  and present one stanza after evening prayer from 25th July 2016 onwards. Also senior students will be given task as group activity to explain each line of Kendra Prarthana in school morning assembly  from next week 

Celebration of International Yoga day at VKV Kuporijo

21st June 2016: VKV Kuporijo celebrated 2nd International Yoga Day with much fervour. Students demonstrated different postures of yoga like stretching of arms, slowly inhaling and exhaling, loosening exercises and Surya Namaskar from 7 am to 8 am.

Attendance: 13 teachers and 292

Preparation:  Students had practise sessions for week long under the guidance of Smt. Sheela J.Jadhav and Sri Ranjan Kr. Chaudhury, PET.

Participation in Public Program: There was common mass yoga demonstration programme at 6.00 AM. in Daporijo. Sri Komkar Dulom DC Daporijo, HOD’s and staff of govt. Department, NGO’s and few schools participated.

Participation: 72 students from the school along with two teachers participated.

Deshbhakti Kavi Sammelan Held in VKV Kuporijo

An event celebrated every year by the VKVs to infuse the poetic interest among the contemporaries and to increase the zeal of patriotism; VKV Kuporijo organized the “Deshbhakti Kavi Sammelan” in connection with the 67th Republic Day, on 28th Jan 2016 in its Hall. Around 350 fans of poem took part in the event wherein selected young poet from various schools namely Si-Donyi Public School, Abotani Middle School, Adarsh Public School, Govt. B. M. School, Govt. Sikarijo Sec. School, Vivekananda Public School, Govt. Lida Sec. School, Govt. H. S. School and VKV Kuporijo of Daporijo area presented their mesmerizing self created poems.

Appear as the Chief Guest, Sri. Denesh Kr. Divakar, Lacturer DIET Daporijo, appreciated the budding poet for their full of patriotic poems. He also appreciated the efforts of the VKVs and Kuporijo in particular for their outmost effort in providing a nice platform to the young poets, propping up the poetic talent in them. Sri. Vijay Murtem, Principal DIET Daporijo, was also present in the program to ecstasy the sweet swigs of the poems. The participants were awarded with medal and certificate.

Samartha Bharat Parva Report

VKV Kuporijo celebrated Samartha Bharat Parva from 25th December 2015 to 12th January 2016. Following activities were undertaken:

MORNING ASSEMBLY:

  •  Speech by teachers, daily highlighting on one aspect of “Bharat” in order infuse patriotic spirit.
  • Singing of Vandemataram by entire group of students.
  • Display of collage boards on Ma. Eknathji, Swamiji, Monuments, Great leaders and notable achievements of Indians .
  • Inviting guest speaker Su. Nima Namchoom, DIPRO Daporijo (former student of VKV Tafrogam) on 4th January 2016. She stressed on using mother tongue at home and to speak good English. She also shared her experience in VKV Tafrogam.
