The responsibility of the programme share to each teachers and all of them shouldered the responsibility and implemented successfully.

India’s festivals reflect the country’s rich culture abundance. Breaking the humdrum of daily routine, these festival bring with them a wave of excitement, happiness and hope even in the Pandemic of Covid-19. Raksha Bandhan day was celebrated in VKV Longding with full of enthusiasm and it spirit.

On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Sri Nitya Prakash Tiwari, Hindi teacher spoke the importance of Raksha Bandhan celebration. The important points of his speech are :

• Importance of Raksha Bandhan celebration and story behind it.
• The bond between a sister and brother is lifelong.
• The festival indicates love, care and bondage of all sisters and brothers.
• The value and the sentiment behind the celebration to be understood properly and to be preserved.

  All the teaching, non teaching staff and staff children tied to Rakhi each other. Rakhi were tied to the panel of Swami Vivekananda and Ma. Eknathji.

A master organizer, the spirit behind Swami Vivekananda Rock memorial, the founder of Vivekananda Kendra and the perennial motivational spirit behind the Karyakartas  who work for the welfare of humanity, Ma. Eknathjis’ Punya Tithi was observed in VKV Longding.

 Our school programme started with Ekya mantra followed by the Patriotic Song on Eknathji by Smt. Minaksi Sinha. The brief life sketch of Ma. Eknathji was narrated by K.V Dineshan, Principal of VKV Longding. The important points are:-

• Eknathji Proved through his life how the obstacles can be converted into opportunities.
• He narrated the story of Rock memorial.
• True patriotism and tribute to Ma. Eknathji can be shown through dedication in work and integration with organization.
• Each and every members work in Vivekananda Kendra is accountable.

Finally ,  the staff members of VKV Longding paid the  floral tribute to the  photograph of  Manneeneya Eknathji Ranade followed by tribute to Eknathji by singing a  song  of “Vandana Abhinandana Hey Dev Shata  Shata Vandana.

School Play ground Total Attendance-15 It was a pleasant morning on the campus on Independence day at VKV Longding which was fully decorated bythe saffron,white and green colours. The morning assembly was held in the school field exactlyat 7.15a.m which was followed by hoisting of the tri-colour flag accompanied by the National Anthem and everyone saluting the National Flag created a different ambience in the premises.During the occasion,principal K.V Dineshan reminded to the staff of the struggle,blood and sacrifices that our freedom fighters did to give us this Independence of life. During this occasion,teachers of VKV Longding sung different patriotic song.students of different classes participated in online competitions like Role play of Indian freedom fighter and singing National Anthem with family.The students with  family  sung The National Anthem and uploaded in the official site.

Guru Purnima event was celebrated on 23^rd July 2021 at VKV Longding with  full of enthusiasm. This day is celebrated to all over in India with the  objectives of creating awareness among the students and teachers about            Sanatana dharma of our nation and its rich cultural heritage of “Guru-     Shishya Parampara”. It was celebrated to make the people to understand and   realize the importance of guru in their lives. The programme started with three Omkaras followed with Ekya Mantra. The sequence of the programme as follows:

• Sri Ram Bahadur Chetry , English teacher, VKV Longding gave a welcome speech and highlighted the role of guru in the society
• Nitya Prakash Tiwari , Hindi Teacher, VKV Longding expressed the role and importance of guru in one’s on life.
• Guru Bhajan was sung by Smt. Minakshi Sinha and Su. Sumitra Borgohain
• A Swadhyaya was conducted on this occasion. The topic for the discussion was the letter from Mananeeya Nivedita Didi’s on the occasion of Guru Purnima . All the teachers were present and the following points were discussed in the Swadhyaya.
• Need to protect Sanatana Dharma by practicing and propagating.
• The practical element of Mahabharata in our day today life.
• Role of Guru in the present scenario .
• The basic ideal of Vedas as an organization outlook.
• The role of Swami Vivekananda for preserving the knowledge of Vedanta.
• Blessing words gave by Principal VKV, Longding Sri K.V Dineshan.
