Swami Vivekananda Jayanti based on the Tithi was celebrated in the Juna-1 village of Lathao with the help of the villagers, teaching staff, and students of the Middle school, Luna-1.The programme was inaugurated by Village head Chow Sriwanta Phalang by lighting the lamp. In his speech, he mentioned the great works of swami Vivekananda for bringing back the glory of our nation. He focused on the similarities between Lord Buddha and Swami Vivekananda in their principles. The students of VKV Namsai presented Khamti traditional dance, patriotic songs,s and speeches on the life and messages of Swami Vivekananda. The welcome speech was delivered by Padmanabhan VP on behalf of the villagers. Chow Yana Chiring extended a vote of thanks and appreciated the work of Vivekananda Kendra and the ideas- man making and nation-building.
