Independence Day was observed in our school with solemnity and pride on August 15, 2025. The programme began with the flag hoisting ceremony followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of the day and reminding students of their duties towards the nation.
After the school-level observance, the students were taken to the main ground, where they participated in the band programme and band display, adding colour and rhythm to the celebration. The students were also awarded prizes by Hon’ble MLA, Chow Zingnu Namchoom Sir, for winning the 1st Prize in Senior Quiz Competition, 2nd Prize in Junior Quiz Competition, and 1st and 3rd in Drawing Competition. It was an Inter-School Quiz and drawing competition conducted by the District library.
The event instilled a spirit of patriotism and responsibility among the students and concluded in an orderly and disciplined manner.
