National Youth Day Celebration -VKV Mukto

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Mukto celebrated National Youth Day on 12th of January 2021 to commemorate the 158th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The celebration was conducted in the school premise where the teaching and non-teaching staffs and the students of class VII and VIII were present. Due to Covid 19 and the ongoing local festival at Tawang named “Torgya Monastery Festival”, the parents could not attend the programme. The programme was started at 10:00 A.M with three omkaras followed by “Ekya Mantra”. Sri Chorten Norbu, Headmaster of Government Secondary School, Mukto cum Secretary SSG, VKV Mukto graced the occasion as the guest of the programme. The guest was felicitated by a local “Khada”. A welcome song was sung by the students of class VII. Sri Dipok Chetri welcomed the guest, teaching and non-teaching staff and the students. A student of class VIII named Sang Tashi highlighted the importance of the day. Sri Chorten Norbu sir delivered a morale valued speech in where he included the habit of discipline, punctuality, all round development of the students etc. Further Principal,VKV Mukto Sri. Ambuj Kr. Thakur highlighted on the life of Swamiji, Kendra and its work throughout Arunachal Pradesh and Nation.To commemorate the day, the school kept Patriotic song competition among the students of class VII and VIII.  The result was declared on the same day and given away the prizes.  Thought Presentation Competition of Swamij was also conducted through online mode along with Circulation of Nation Youth Day wishes to parents. The programme was ended with “Shanti Mantra”
