Vivekodayam Magazine Released - VKV Sher

A magazine was published in our school in the name Vivekodayam and released by Smt. Rama Didi, Educationist and student counselor. It was an effort by highly motivated class X students of our school. Students of all the classes showed interest to be a part of this noble attempt. The editorial board made elaborate plans for continuing to publish the magazine in each month. There were poems, stories, amazing facts and memories from the life of students.

Annual Sports Day Conducted - VKV Sher

Sports day was activated from 29th November to 1st December in our school with various events. There was an inauguration function at 9.00am where students showed their interest on sports and games. All the teachers wholeheartedly contributed for the successful completion of the event. On all days there was house wise cultural competition in the hostel where they performed drama, mime, patriotic dance, folk song etc. On the last day of the sports event, final match of the football match was held. In the valedictory function, Sri.Feroz Khan, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kimin was the chief Guest. After distributing the prizes, he congratulated the students for maintaining discipline in the football match which he witnessed in our school.

Excursion for class Seven students - VKV Sher

An excursion was arranged for the students of class VII on 12/12/18 to visit Dejoo tea industry. The journey started after completing first period. The enthusiastic students cleared their doubts by asking various questions to the guide. They observed various methods of making tea powder .They learnt the difference between high quality and low quality tea powders. The process of learning through experience was the motto which we could fulfill successfully.

Universal Brotherhood day Celebrated - VKV Sher

The Universal Brotherhood day has been celebrated in a colorful way in our vidyalaya on 11th September 2018. The Chief Guest of the programme was Sri.Prasant Soni, Deputy Commandant 10th ITBP Kimin. The Guest of Honour of the programme was Sri. Pisa Kachi, District Treasury Officer and Sri. Nani Tade, AE, PHED. The Chief Guest was lighted the lamp followed by Sahanabavatu mantra. Welcome speech was delivered by Principal Sri.Padmanabhan V P. Following that the importance of the day was delivered by Sri.S Patowary. The prizes for Swach Bharat Painting competition were distributed by the Chief Guest.  The Chief Guest  had expressed his view regarding the importance of moulding a new generation for protecting our nation and the need of including such kind of things in education. Then Guest of Honours shared their memories with parents and the importance of keeping our culture very sincerely.  They were added the need of spreading the message of Swamiji in the society.


National sports day celebration - VKV Sher

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya celebrated the birth day of Hockey legend Sri Gyanchand with various programmes. A Marathon race was held among four houses where 40 students took part. Volleyball match between teachers and students, Foot ball match among houses and musical chair for girls also conducted. The Marathon race was inaugurated by Principal, VKV Sher .A speech on the contribution of Gyanchand was delivered by Kr. Tamchi Tara of class IX. All the participants received medals and certificates from the sports-in-charge Sri. R K Moorthy
