Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Balijan conducted Prochodaya Shibir 2019 for class IX & X on 9th August 2019 in school auditorium. Four sessions based on “Guru-Shishya relationship” initiated by Sri. Ramprakash Yadav, Headmaster Mahatama Gandhi Hindi School Dafflagarh, Career Guidance conducted by Su. Amken Gohain, Vivekananda Kendra & Preparation for Exam, a session conducted by Sri. Jyoti Prakash Mishra and Allertness Games organized by Sri. B. Nagarale & Su. Latashree Deo etc. were some of the highlights of the programme.

Altogether, 58 students (from both the classes) out of 61, attended in this years’ Prochodaya Shibir

As per the Schedule set by the VKV Alumni Association for the Jila Sampaka Abhiyan, a six member team visited in the school on 23rd July 2019 at 3.30pm. In this connection, the school has organised a simple programme in the prayer hall to welcome the office bearers of VKV Alumni Association, wherein all the students, teaching and non-teaching staffs were present. Sri. T.M. Sathian, Principal formally welcomed the dignitaries and throw a light on the significance of the samparka abhiyan. Sri. S.C. Dixit, Cluster In-charge & Education Officer of VKVAPT,Papumpare Cluster felicitated the distinguished guests.

As a part of the programme, within a short span of time, they have organised a separate interactive session for the whole students as well as students of Class IX & X and teaching and non-teaching staffs.

Entire team of the VKV Alumni Association left from the campus at 6pm and proceeded to Itanagar with positive note.

VKV Balijan celebrated Guru Purnima on 16th July 2019. Three activities organised in school.

VKV Balijan organized Sargam Camp 2019 for the selected students of VKVs, Nirjuli, Itanagar, Seijosa, Vivek Vihar , Balijan, PTC Banderdewa and Nivedita Vihar from 21st June to 24 June 2019. As per the schedule, inaugural ceremony conducted on 21st June 2019 at 9.30am in the prayer hall wherein all the above mentioned VKVs were present. Sri. T.M. Sathian, Principal VKV Balijan formally welcomed all the students, escorts and resource persons of various VKVs. Sri. Krishnakumar, Member VKVAPT, in his address, briefed the significance of the Sargam Camp every year in VKVs.
