VKV Oyan SS Latest News

In these golden days I learned lots of things. I never thought that I will get a chance to experience this kind of excitement in my life. It was a life time experience for me. I was made aware of Chandrayaan Online quiz by our principal sir and made me to participate. I played the online quiz but I never thought that I will get selected among the top two  from my state. On 28th August I came to know that I was one among the top two winners from Arunachal Pradesh of the space quiz. My happiness had no limit. I started dreaming of visit towinners ISRO Banglore to witness the landing of Vikram lander and that too with our Honourable Prime Minister Sri. Narendra Modi-The people’s Leader. I prepared for my journey by reading more about ISO and Indian Space Mission programmes.

I reached ISRO Banglore along with my Inspiring Mother. All total there were 76 participant winners from all over the country. Hundreds of big cities, lakhs of School all over India, and I from a small village of Arunachal Pradesh…Oyan… got the opportunity to participate in one of best life time historic event. My heartful thanks to the organization of Vivekananda Kendra with Vission of Swami Vivekananda and the mission of Mananyee Eknathji for establishing VKV’s in Arunachal and providing us with real education of life. At 9.00 pm we were taken to ISRO’s Technical Room. I was astonished to more than 100’s of scientist working for the success of the mission.Each and every one focused in their work. I wanted to interact with one or two of them but disappointed as they were so busy. Better luck for me the next time. I got a chance to meet with the Chairman of ISRO, Dr. K. Sivan, the architect of Chandrayaan 2 Mission.

School level science exhibition was conducted on 21-10-2019 in VKV Oyan.A total of 52 models were exhibited by 156 number of students from class VI to X.
Students of GNA English medium were also invited to witness the exhibition.
Sri.Chandrika Doley,Science teacher of GNA School and myself was the judge for the exhibition.
Sri.Bibhuti Bhusan Bal,science teacher of VKV Oyan was the coordinator of the programme.
The exhibition was conducted nicely and gave a scientific touch to all.

Swadhaya for teachers was conducted on 23rd Sep 2019. The Swadhaya was lead by Sri. Bibhuti Bhusan Bal, Vice Principal, VKV Oyan.The book choosen for Swadhaya was   “Rousing Call to Hindu Nation” by Man. Eknath Ranade. The theme was “True Teacher”. An elaborate discussion took among the teacher group and everybody put forward their views in context with the topic.

VKV Oyan wholeheartedly participated and conducted Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign conducted by Sille Oyan Circle office with respect to Swach Bharat Mission, an initiative by Govt. of India. On 21st September 2019, VKV Oyan did a possession in Oyan –sille village to aware about swachhata and avoids the use of plastic. We did a massive cleaning in school premise. Dr. H. Panggeng, Circle Officer, Oyan Sille visited school to take the stock of the service activities.

Under the campaign, VKV Oyan participated in the inter school drawing and Essay competition conducted by Circle Office of Oyan Sille Circle .VKV Oyan was one of the venue of the competition. Students of VKV Oyan performed well and won prizes. The prizes won under different categories by our students are tabulated below:

VKV Oyan started to recognize and felicitate students in different areas of excellence in every month to motivate them and develop competitive spirit among the students. The following students were awarded for their best performance in the month of August. The students were felicitated by Dr. H. Panggeng, Circle Officer, Sille Oyan Circle during the occasion of Universal Brother hood day celebration on 11th Sep 2019.

A meeting was conducted for the teachers to know in detail about the Ek Bharat Vijay Bharat- a Maha Sampark Karya of Vivekananada Kendra. Sri. P.G. Dodum ji, Pranth Sampark Pramukh of Arunachal State Committe of Vivekananda Kendra and Su.Shri Priyanka Didi,Prakalp Sangathak,Arun Jyoti, Arunachal Pradesh were present in the meeting. Sri. P.G Dodum ji narrated the historic construction of Vivekananda Kendra Rock memeorial by Mananeeya Eknath Ranade and establishment of Vivekananda Kendra. Su. Shri Priyanka Didi explained the importance of Maha Sampark karya how to carry out the sampark karya.

EXAM TIME

The exam of students began on 23rd Sep 2019 and will end on 3rd October 2019. For classes V,VIII,IX and X it was their 2nd periodic exam. For Classes IV,VI and VII it was their First Term Exam. For Classes I to III it was their 2nd Written Test. Sri. Abhijeet Dey, Sri. Jiten Das and Smt. Meneeka Upadhaya were the exam incharges. After the exam the students will

Anti-Tobacco School Health Awareness programme was conducted by District Tobacco control Cell,East siang, Pasighat to create awareness among the students about the ill effects of tobacco on health and to choose tobacco free life. Dr. Tarik Talom, District Programme Officer and his team conducted a highly beneficial educative programme. The students collected lots of information on the ill effects of using tobacco and beauty of tobacco free life. The programme included speech and video show on use of tobacco and its ill effects.

Sri. Arvind Bhatt, Founder of Samvaad Institute at Jodhpur, a motivator, Talker and Trainer visited our vidyalaya on 12th Sep 2019. He took a session on “Ego” for the teachers.  For students of Class VI to VIII he took session on Public Speaking and for the student of Class IX & X he spoke on Goal and Success. Students and teachers were highly benifited by his talks and ideas of life.
