Matri Puja Conducted - VKV Tafrogam

Matri puja of class X students & mothers were  performed on 2nd February 2020.A total of 29 mothers out of 30 were present. Total number of participants including fathers is 45.Programme started with invocation by class IX students followed by highly of the lamp by the chief guest Sri.Sailu Bellai,first batch alumini of VKV Tafrogam. A warn welcome was given by the principal Smt.Shanthi Manoharan for the chief guest and also the parents,students who have assembled there. Smt.Sailu Bellai spoke the importance of the puja.Matri Puja is not a simple puja.Thr blessings of motherhood is important for a prosperous life.Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas  felt that by this Matri puja  blessings with mother will give their children's strength. They felt that by this Matri puja blessings which mother will give to their children be carried for long time. Smt.Sailu Bellai shared her experience of school life.

Matri puja was performed by Sri.Pradeep Kr Pandey,CIC Lohit cluster.A beautiful ambience was created.Around 12 girls shared their experience and expressed their feelings towards their mother.They also thanked the school for conducting the puja.Few mothers also shared their experience. They were thankful to the school for organising such a wonderful programme.vone of the mother said.l,I would not have given what you all have given for my child.Thanks to all the teachers for sending home a wonderful girl as per our expectations.

National Youth Day Celebrated - VKV Basar

158th Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated on 12th January 2020 in the school campus. All the parents, well-wishers, school supporting Group Members were invited to attend this Grand Celebration. Smt. Sweata Chauhan (S.P. Leparada Dist., Basar graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

    The programme was started at 10:30 am and ended at 12:00 pm. The programme agenda was as follows:-

The principal of VKV Basar expressed his highest gratitude to all the people who were physically presence in the program as well as he highlighted about Ek Bharat Vijaye Bharat. and su. Kerishma di gave brief sketch of Swami Vivekananda.The programme was witnessed by82 parents and 158 students.

National Youth Day Celebrated - VKV Tafrogam

The celebration started with lighting  of the lamp followed by the welcome address given by the Principal Smt.Shanthi Manoharan.

Colourful cultural program was presented by the students along with field activities Band and Lezim display.

Srii.Tapir Gao  recalled the visit to school in 2004. He said that VKVs  are doing excellent job in Arunachal Pradesh.He feels very happy to be in VKV campus with all the karyakartas. He urged and inspired the children to keep up the spirit of studies and wished to come up with flying colours in the Board examination.

Hon. M.P Sri.Tapir Gao donated a cash amount of RS 50,000 towards school development and also promised  for a Auditorium for the school from MLA/MP lap.

The cultural show was very enchanting.

Sri.Ashok Atale Vibhag Sanghatak VK Arunjyoti in his speech mentioned about the motive of "Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat" Karya taken by Vivekananda Kendra and also the inspiring story of Vivekananda Rock memorial. 40 students have gone to the border area of Arunachal Pradesh to give the message of Swami Vivekananda.

Hon.MLA Sri.Karikho Kri in his speech also appreciated the work of Vivekananda Kendra in Arunachal Pradesh.He told that VKV Tafrogam had been bringing wonderful results in class X Board examination and also Toppers among all VKV's. The present batch also should work hard and break the previous record.He requested Hon.M.P Sri.Tapir Gao who has funded for the construction of two class rooms in 2004.Now,the school is in need of an auditorium and that must be provided. He also told that youth of the country should understand their responsibility and should not become addict to drugs.

Entire arrangement including stage ground was taken by Sri EjensoYun alumni  parent and SSG member of VKV Tafrogam.

Annual Sports Meet Conducted - VKV Tafrogam

The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held on Friday 20th December 2019 to 21st December 2019, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the Principal Smt. Shanthi Manoharan Di welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasised on the importance of sports in a child's life. Principal, Smt Shanthi Manoharan Di hosted the School flag and also took the salute of the impressive March Past of the four houses. Sri Sanmukhan P along with Principal Di lit the ceremonial torch and Km. Beautilu Dilu of class IX, best athlete of session 2018-19, carried the torch.

The oath being administered by the School captain Km. Ngunlam Wangsa. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion as Su. Rumi Khakhlari declared the sports meet open. This was entailed by the races wherein the participants participated with full verve and vigour. It was a delight to see the excitement with which the students challenged themselves to attempt a variety of races such as sack race, obstacle race, , skipping race, relay, balloon poop race. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.

Fun time with a tug- of- war between the staff and class X students added to the enjoyment.

The school playground rimmed with flags and balloons reverberating with the sound of cheers made everyone’s day. At the end of the annual sports day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces as the Anikmatai House emerged as House Champions. These two days filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish. The principal, Snt. Shanthi Manoharan thanked all the teachers for their cooperation and support and advised children to keep up their sportsman spirit.
