Celebration of Teacher’s Day

Teachers shape the mind of our children and our future. They are really no words to express gratitude for all they do. Many of them are role models and make a huge difference in the lives of children”. The Birthday of Dr. Radhakrishnan, the former president of our country, Bharat is celebrated as Teachers’ Day in VKV Longding with different programme to highlight the specialty and greatness of the teachers and their works. The programme started with Ekya mantra followed by welcome address by Sri Ram Bahadur Chetry highlight the role of teachers in the society.  Sri Nitya Praksh Tiwari, Hindi teacher spoke about the importance of the day. The two Guru Bhajans were performed by Smt. Minakshi sinha and Su. Sumitra Borgohain. Self composed poem presented by all the teachers. Sri K.V Dineshan, Principal gave the Blessing words and he expressed a teacher-a pillar of support, an epitome of strength, as loving as a mother, as strict as a father, as caring as a friend so approachable and warm at heart. A teacher-  a beautiful human being. The programme concluded with Shanty Mantra.

Observation of Eknathji Punyatithi - VKV Longding

The Man with capital M, a visionary, who proved that every obstacles can be converted into opportunities, through his work and deeds. Mananeeya Eknathj Ranadeji , the founder of Vivekananda Kendra and Vivekananda Rock memorial,was observed in VKV Longding today. All Centres and Vidyalayas of Vivekananda Kendra observe the day as Eknathji Punya Tithi.
Our school programme started with Aikya mantra followed by weicome address by Su. Sumitra bogohain, maths teacher. Sri Ram Bahadur Chetry, English teacher gave the importance of the day. The key points of his speech
 One should be an engine head to carry all the loads
 He narrated the story of Rock memorial
 Narrated the life Incident of Manneneya Eknathji Ranade life.
 We should have one life one Mission in our life.
Lastly , all the staff of VKV Longding paid the floral tribute to the decorated photograph of Manneeneya Eknathji Ranade followed by tribute of song “Vandana Abhinandana Hey Dev Shata Shata Vandana.

 

Celebration of Genesh Chaturthi - VKV Longding


On 22 August 2020, Sri Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in a grand way with great joy and enthusiasm.The programme started with Aikya mantra followed by welcome address by Su. Sumitra Borgohain. Sri Nitya praksh Tiwari , Hindi teacher spoke about the importance of the day. He narrated the beautiful story of lord Ganesha in an interesting way . The two Ganesh Bhajans were performed by Smt Durga Chetry (Wife of sri Ram Chetry) and Smt. Anshika Tiwari ( Wife of Sri Nitya prakash Tiwari). Sri K.V Dineshan, Principal gave the Blessing words and he appreciated the beautiful decoration of the hall by the team. The Arati led by Smt. Minakshi Sinha and followed by all the staff members. The programme concluded with Shanty Mantra. The Prasad distribution was followed after the programme

Independence Day Celebration

74th Independence Day celebrated at VKV Longding with great spirit and enthusiasm. Principal Sri K.V Dineshan unfurled the trie colour in the presence of  Teaching and non- teaching staff of VKV Longding. National Anthem is followed. The Principal addressed the small gathering. The key points of his address

  • Remembrance of the sacrifices of the martyrs of freedom Struggle .
  • Role of teachers in Athma Nirbar Bharat
  • Birth day of Spiritual leader of India Sri Arbindo Gosh
  • Role of teachers for inculcating the Patriotic spirit among the students.

The school patriotic song ( Bharat Pyara Desh Hamara) sung by all the  staff members.

Krishna Janmashtami Celebration

Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in our school premises with great happiness and joy. All family members of campus attended the programme. Km. Roshni Chetry (D/o R.B Chetry) and Km Janvi Tiwari ( D/o N.P Tiwari ) performed the role  of Krishna and Radha. The highlights of the programme is given below:
