SPEAKER: B. RADHA DEVI, JOINT SECRETARY, VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYAS, ARUNACHAL PRADESH TRUST

“Snehavardhini” of VKV Nirjuli conducted Vimarsh-II on the topic “Bharatiya Nari” on 27th September 2015. There were 140 mothers were present for the programme.

It was conducted to deal with the status of Indian women and the manifold dimensions of women’s role in fostering various aspects of family and social values. It aimed at enlightening women to liberate them from the preponderance of social stigmas, which women are victim to and as a result stymied their progress.The programme was conducted as a part of the yearlong celebration of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade Janma Shati Parva(MEJSP).Vimarsh-II was attended by 135 mothers . The participants were greatly benefitted by the edifying speech of Su. Radha didi , who expatiated on the numerous facets of “Indian Women, Family and Society,” citing wide range of empirical and didactic allusions. The cruces of the value points of Radha didi’s speech are highlighted below:

Women are the embodiment and epitome of tolerance and virtuosity. They need to be emancipated, relaxing the imposition on their mobility by elevating their status through education.

Library week was celebrated on the occasion of Sadhana Divas in VKV Nirjuli.

Duration: 19 November to 26 November 2014

Inauguration: Dr Joram Begiji, Former Director of Technical and Higher Education and Prant Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra, Arunachal Pradesh.

While speaking on the occasion Dr. Begi dwelt in length about the contribution of Eknathji Ranade made in the national arena and particularly for Aruanchal Pradesh.

He also inaugurated 12 wall magazines.

Other Dignitaries:Other Dr. Arkotong Longkumer, Lecturer in Religious Studies, University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom was also present on the occasion

What is Uddan?

A programme by CBSE New Delhi literally meaning giving wings to girl students to fly high like birds. Girl students presently studying in Class XI & XII Science stream are trained to face the engineering entrance test of IITs and NITs with confidence.

Attendance: Total of 5 students could participate in the Contact cum induction Program programme conducted in Delhi from dated 14.11.2014 – 15.11.2014.They were given one tablet to carry out online coaching imparted by CBSE experts.

Venue: Kaziranga University, Assam

Duration: 1st November 2014 to 4th November 2014

Participation: 26 Class XI studentsfrom the school.

Main Programs:

This camp fostered upon 7 levels of transformation. In addition to in campus activities, there were off campus programmes like tuning with Nature, visit to Majuli Island and many more.

Ozone Day was celebrated at VKV Nirjuli in the most spectacular manner that is apt to the significance and the inevitability of the ozone layer for the protection of our planet.  More than 600 students from Class VI to XII participated in the Celebration.

Main events:

Grand Procession:

All the students and the teachers took out a grand procession covering  3 Km  reverberating with the school band group and slogans.  The procession was taken out with the objective to foster awareness in the adjoining area.

Slogan Writing Competition:

More than 240 students participated in the slogan writing competition on the given theme related to the ozone day. Many students came out with brilliant slogans appropriate for the occasion.

The State level(Arunachal Prant) launching of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade Janma Shati Parva was conducted in VKV Nirjuli on 2nd December 2014

Dignitaries: Mananeeya A. Balakrishnanji, Vice President, Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, Dr Joram Begi, Prant Pramukh, Vivekananda Kendra, Arunachal Pradesh, Dr Tejum Padu, Sah Prant Pramukh, Vivekananda Kendra, Arunachal Pradesh, Parents of VKV Nirjuli, Well Wishers, etc. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Swamiji Maharaj, RK Mission Itanagar. In addition, more than 370 people had gathered in VKV Nirjuli auditorium to grace the occasion.
