VKV Anini Celebrates Universal Brotherhood Day 2026

Anini, Sept 10: Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) Anini celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day with a vibrant outreach programme at PM SHRI School Anguli, bringing together over 70 attendees, including district dignitaries, teachers, parents, alumni, and students.

The event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting by Chief Guest Smt. Jali Umpo (ADC, Dibang Valley District), followed by a warm felicitation by SSG members.

In her address, Smt. Umpo highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s iconic Chicago speech as a beacon for global peace and urged students to build strong character, discipline, and a spirit of service. Guest of Honour Sri Robin Mano (Headmaster, PM SHRI School) lauded VKV Anini as a role-model institution in the region, while Special Guest Sri Prakash Rai reminded students of their privilege in learning Swamiji’s values daily.

Event Highlights:

  • Keynote Remarks: Smt. Andikru Mihu (Parent) and Kr. Tomin Paron shared the day's core message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family).
  • Chicago Speech: Recited by Km. Thia Mili (Class VII).
  • Cultural Presentations: A welcome song by Class IV, a traditional dance on environmental conservation by Class VII & VIII girls, and a inspiring drama on Swamiji's life.
Anchored by Km. Biya Miso and Km. Annu Mihu, the event concluded with a vote of thanks by Lopo Miwu (Class VI) and Smt. Nane Mipi. Team VKV Anini extends its heartfelt gratitude to the host school, parents, and well-wishers for making the outreach initiative a resounding success!

International Day of Yoga Celebration at VKV Anini

VKV Anini organized three programmes in connection with **International Yoga Day (IYD) 2026**, including two outreach programmes and one celebration at the Vidyalaya.

### 1. Government Middle School, Anguli

**Date:** 20 June 2026
**Participants:** 80 (staff, students, parents, and VKV students)

A Class VIII student spoke on the significance of yoga, followed by a yoga practice session guided by **Sri Sandeep Kumar**, a yoga demonstration by trained VKV students, and blessing words by Headmaster **Sri Robin Manu**.

### 2. Government Upper Primary School, Kaji

**Date:** 20 June 2026
**Participants:** 65 (staff, students, parents, and VKV students)

The programme included a talk on the importance of yoga by a Class VIII student, yoga practice guided by **Sri Tiwari Sir**, a yoga demonstration by VKV students, and blessing words by the Headmaster.

### 3. VKV Anini

**Venue:** VKV Anini Auditorium
**Participants:** 214 (students of Classes III–VII, parents, staff, well-wishers, and Amrit Parivar members)

The programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a talk on yoga, a yoga practice session led by **Sri Sandeep Kumar** (PT Teacher), a yoga demonstration, and an address by the Principal encouraging parents to make yoga a part of daily life.

All the programmes were well received, and participants expressed enthusiasm for practising yoga regularly.

Celebration of Kalpataru Divas - VKV Anini

VKV Anini celebrated the most significant occasion - Kalpataru Divas 2026.

Participants- 310 (Indian Army, ITBP, Parents, Well Wishers, SSG members, students, and staff)
Activities - 
* Puja & Significance of the Day- by Sri  Gokaran Tiwari 
* Bhajan - Staff 
* Rakhi Bandhan - To Army jawans by Students, To well-wishers by staff 
* Plantation and cleaning drive by students.
* Experience sharing by army jowans.
- It was a very successful program. All appreciated the program. Anchoring and vote of thanks by Students.

VKV Anini has celebrated Saraswati Puja purposefully.
