On the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s Janma Tithi, VKV Changlang organized a Drawing Competition and Swami Vivekananda’s Quotation Interpretation Competition at Upper Primary School, Bubang-II.

The programme aimed to familiarize students with the life, ideals, and inspiring messages of Swami Vivekananda. A total of 55 students, along with teachers and staff from Bubang-II School and VKV Changlang, participated enthusiastically.

The event began with Om Karas, Sahanavavatu, and the lighting of the lamp by Sri T. Tangha, Principal, Bubang-II School, and Smt. Priyanka Tiwari, Principal, VKV Changlang. Smt. Priyanka Tiwari spoke on the importance of the day, followed by a welcome address by Sri M. Tangha. Km. Ashung Wangsa, a Class IX student of VKV Changlang, delivered a speech on India’s contribution.

Students showcased creativity through drawings and thoughtful interpretations of Swamiji’s quotations. Prizes were distributed by the principals. The programme concluded on a positive note, inspiring students to follow the ideals of truth, service, and self-discipline as taught by Swami Vivekananda, and ended with the Shanti Mantra.

The school observed the first day of Samarth Bharat Parv on 25th December 2025 during the evening prayer. All residential staff and students participated in the programme.

The prayer hall was beautifully decorated with diyas and rangolis by the students and Warden Didi. The programme included prayer, bhajans, and an audio message from Su. Sujata Didi, Bharat Mata Aarti, and the national song “Vande Mataram.”

The Principal, Smt. Priyanka Tiwari Didi delivered a powerful speech on India’s contribution to the world, highlighting achievements in medicine, technology, sports, yoga, and other fields.

Mathematics Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at VKV Changlang on 22nd December 2025. A total of 295 students, 13 teachers, and the Chief Guest, Sri M. Tangha, Head Master of Middle School Bobang, Changlang, actively participated in the programme.

The celebration commenced with a Model Exhibition, where students displayed various innovative mathematical models in front of the school block. The exhibition was keenly observed and appreciated by the Chief Guest and the Principal of VKV Changlang, Smt. Priyanka Tiwari, who encouraged the students for their creativity and conceptual understanding.

Earlier, on 19th December, a Mathematics Quiz Competition was conducted as part of the Mathematics Day activities. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. During the main programme, prizes were distributed to the winning groups by the Chief Guest, motivating students to develop a deeper interest in mathematics.

The celebration was a grand success and helped foster logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm for mathematics among students.

On 1st December 2025, Gita Jayanti and Amrit Parivar Milan were celebrated in VKV Changlang with great enthusiasm and devotion. The programme was organised in the school Prayer Hall at 6 PM. The hall was beautifully decorated with banners, garlands, and a flower rangoli.

Sri N. Songthing (Superintendent of APST) was the Chief Guest, and Sri K. Khomrang (Sankul Parivar Pramukh) also graced the occasion.

A total of 36 parents, 10 teaching staff members with their families, and 40 students participated in the programme.

The Annual Sports Meet was held at VKV Changlang from 11th to 15th November 2025 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students of all classes. The main aim of the programme was to promote physical fitness, team spirit, and healthy competition among the students.

During the inaugural ceremony, the distinguished guests included Sri G. Doke, EAC Changlang, as the Chief Guest; Sri D. Techai, Veterinary Officer, Changlang; and Sri W. Techi, Headmaster, Town Middle School, Changlang.

The 150th Anniversary of the patriotic song Vande Mataram was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence today, i.e., on 7 Nov 2025 at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Changlang. The programme was graced by the presence of the Deputy Commissioner, Changlang, Shri Vishal Sah, along with Principal Didi, Smt. Priyanka Tiwari, teachers, 270 students, 17 officials from the administrative department, and 8 more attendees.
The event commenced with the students singing the soulful rendition of Vande Mataram, joined by the DC Sir, Principal, and teachers, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and unity. The melodious rendition filled everyone with pride and respect for the nation. 

Following the song, all attendees, including students, teachers, and administrative officials, witnessed the Hon’ble Prime Minister's live address, which added significance to the celebration. His inspiring words highlighted the historical importance and enduring spirit of Vande Mataram in uniting the nation.
The programme concluded with light refreshments, marking the end of a memorable and patriotic occasion that rekindled the spirit of national pride among all participants.

The Assessment Programme commenced with the chanting of three times Omkāra followed by the Shānti Mantras, creating a spiritual and focused atmosphere for the event.

Participants and Performance Overview:

Primary Level 
8 students participated from the primary level. All performed admirably, showcasing dedication and sincerity.
●    All students chanted Shlokas accurately, reflecting their strong preparation and confidence.

Higher Level 
A group of 12  students chanted from the higher level in the assessment.
●    All students chanted Shlokas accurately, reflecting their strong preparation and confidence in Sanskrit recitation.

Conclusion:
The event concluded with the collective chanting of the Shānti Pātha, bringing the programme to a peaceful and auspicious close. The enthusiasm of the students and the encouragement from the judges made the assessment a grand success.

On 20th  October, the festival of light, Deepawali, was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in VKV Changlang in the evening, along with  70 students, 9 teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and their family members. Goddess Laxhmi was worshiped in prayer hall.  The prayer hall was decorated with flower garlands, diyas, electric tuni lights, and banana trees.  A Beautiful Ashana for  Goddess Laxhmi was made, and a photo of Laxhmi was placed and worshiped traditionally. Smt. Durga Tripathi performed the puja with all the rituals.  Sri Abhishek  Kumar  Tiwari spoke on the significance of the day, highlighting the story of Rama and the reason for celebrating Deepawali. Students sang  Ganesh Bhajans, and Ma Laxhmi  Aarti was done. After the puja prashada was distributed to all.
School blocks, three blocks of  hostel were cleaned, and Diyas were lighted by students, and tuni lights were also lighted in school blocks.
A Rangoli Competition was also conducted house-wise theme based on Deepawali.
