On 11th September, Universal Brotherhood was celebrated in VKV Changlang with great enthusiasm and happiness. The programme was graced by Sri. Vishal Sah, DC Changlang, as Chief Guest, SP Changlang, Sri Kirli Padu as Guest of Honour and SSG member Sri. N. Changmi. 13 teachers, family members of staff, 278 parents and well-wishers, 258 students and 4 bhaiyas participated the programme.
The guests arrived at 10 a.m. They were welcomed with a Flower Bouquet, Aarti and Tilak in traditional dress by students. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by the guests, and 3 Om Karas and  Sahanavawatu chanted by students.  
Class V students sang a welcome song.  
Then Principal VKV Changlang, Smt. Priyanka Tiwari delivered a Welcome Speech were everyone was welcomed beautifully. Guests were felicitated by the Principal with Gamusha and Statue of Swamiji and the Unveiling of Arohi by the guests.
Sri. Abhishek Tiwari spoke on the significance of the day highlighting the importance of Chicago Address. How it gave India to the world wide recognition.
 The cultural programme started with Durga Sthuti by Km. Nandini Sonar of class VII. It was followed by the Chicago Address presented by Kr.Joyson Youngja. After this an action rhymes was presented by class 1 and 2 girls. It was also followed by Hindi action dance by class 3 students. Then a  beautiful classical dance was presented by  four Class XI hosteller girls. Two local dance was presented by hosteller girls. 
A drama based on Swamiji’s Chicago address was played by students of class VII. Then the students of class  IV and V demonstrated Yoga Postures .
Both the guests appreciated the programme and students in their speech and advised them to be disciplined, obedience, and work very hard in their studies. D C sir is also our VKV Alumni so he recalled his student life in VKV Oyan and appreciated Joyson Youngja very much for his Chicago Address.
