
On 20th October, the festival of light, Deepawali, was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in VKV Changlang in the evening, along with 70 students, 9 teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and their family members. Goddess Laxhmi was worshiped in prayer hall. The prayer hall was decorated with flower garlands, diyas, electric tuni lights, and banana trees. A Beautiful Ashana for Goddess Laxhmi was made, and a photo of Laxhmi was placed and worshiped traditionally. Smt. Durga Tripathi performed the puja with all the rituals. Sri Abhishek Kumar Tiwari spoke on the significance of the day, highlighting the story of Rama and the reason for celebrating Deepawali. Students sang Ganesh Bhajans, and Ma Laxhmi Aarti was done. School blocks, three blocks of hostel were cleaned, and Diyas were lighted by students, and tuni lights were also lighted in school blocks.
A Rangoli Competition was also conducted house-wise theme based on Deepawali.
