Independence Day Celebration - VKV Gaga
VKV Gaga celebrated Independence Day on 15/08/2021. Due to the pandemic of Covid-19, it was celebrated at school among the staff. The National Flag was hoisted by the Principal, Sri Pramod Kumar Gupta.

VKV Gaga observed the 7th International day of Yoga on 21st June 2021 in the presence of the few neighbourhood students. They were invited to attend the auspicious occasion. The parents could not attend the programme due to their busy schedule of the paddy field work. Sri Hemanta Gogoi briefed the importance of the day and started the Suryanamaskara with proper slokas.
The school also contacted with the 32 members of parents of Gaga and Nyapin and sent the videos of Surya Namaskara. Due to the electricity and network issue it was sent in the nick of time though they did very well. On the otherhand, maximum parents and neighbours were busy in their own cultivation work. But the three concern parents gathered the nearby students of the school and could able to complete the programme successfully. The total number of family members participated in the family programme is 23.
VKV Gaga celebrated the holy occasion of Guru Poornima on 5th July 2020 in the prayer hall. The prayer hall and Om were decorated with flowers. The occasion was started with three Omkaras and Aikyamantra. Sri Loknath Sarma highlighted the significance of the day and briefed about Sri Vedvyasha. Gurustrotra was played through audio. All the staff sang bhajans of Guru. The occasion was concluded with Shanti mantra.
VKV Gaga celebrated Universal brotherhood Day on 11th September 2020. In absence of students, the teachers themselves arranged the occasion. Flowers were offered to Swamiji. The significance of the day was told by Sri Lok Nath Sarma. The teaching staff presented patriotic songs and Chicago Address.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Gaga celebrated the 157th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as National Youth Day in a grand manner on1 2nd January 2020. Sri Kento Riba, DC, Kurung Kumey District, Su. Tsering Pentsom, SDO, Sangram, and Sri Item Jamoh, ADC, Nyapin were invited to grace the occasion as a Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Special guest respectively. After the welcome address, Sri Pramod Kumar Gupta, Principal VKV Gaga highlighted the significance of the day by saying that today’s youth power can do many significant works for the welfare of the nation. Sri Otem Jamoh in his speech remembered his past days in VKVs which gave him a strong foundation to make himself a man. The two other dignitaries also appreciated VKVs for giving quality education to the students.
The Samarth Bharat Parva is being celebrated at VKV Gaga from 25th December 2019 to 12th January 2020.
The inaugural speech was offered by Sri Pramod Kumar Gupta, Principal of the School. He highlighted briefly Swamiji’s dreams, where Swamiji meditated on the rock for three days i.e. from25th December to 27th December where he dreamt of a glorious India. The other teachers also offered their speeches based on the theme ‘glory of India’ in the next days.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Gaga celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November. The significance of this day was told by Sri Rintu Deb. Children were engaged through different activities like Solo songs, group songs, solo dance, group dance, one-act play, etc. They also participated in competitions like musical chairs, blind hit,s and land, and water.
