EMRS Bana SS Latest News

The International Day of Yoga has been conducted in EMRS BANA on 21^st June 2021. Total number of the participants were four. Sri Saligram Sharma, Sri Jitendra Kumar, Sri Diganta Nath & Sri Narayan Sarkar. Importance of the day was described by Sri Narayan Sarkar. Three  families of EMRS Staffs were also celebrated in their side. Our students were also celebrated Yoga Day in their Home & some of our students sent their pictures & videos to us.

Along with the rest of the country the National Youth Day was celebrated in EMRS Bana on the occasion of the 158th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Addressing the gathering soon after lighting the ritual oil lamp marking the inauguration of the programme Smt. K. Amudhavalli, Principal said it is a day of pride as we celebrate the birth anniversary of such a great monk and patriot today. She made a fervent call to one and all to read about the life of Swami vivekananda.

The teachers presented a group patriotic song ( Dharma ke liye jiye), chanted 27 karma yoga shloka. The teachers also presented quotes of swami vivekananda,  thought interpretation and incidents from the life of swamiji were shared with children. The presentation of the teachers drew a loud applause from the gathering.
Quotation writing competition abd quiz was organised for students of class IX- and X.

Ekalavya Model Residential school, Bana celebrated kalpataru diwas on Friday, the 1st January 2021 in a solemn and befitting manner. The program started with om sahanabhavathu followed by importance of the day spoken by Principal. Thereafter Shri Narayan Sarkar gave a short speech on the significance of Kalpataru Day with vivid details of what happened at cossipore UdayanVati on 1st January 1886 and how Sri Ramakrishna Thakur blessed all those assembled thereby telling "May you all be spiritually illuminated".

Devotional songs were rendered by Shri Narayan Sarkar accompanied by Smt. Jutika Devi followed by all the staff present in the prayer hall .
After bhajan all the staff offered pranaam and flowers to Sri Ramakrishna Thakur, Maa sharda, Swamiji and Bharat mata.

Today the Honorable Minister of Health and Family Walfare cum  SJETA Sri. Alo Libang ji along with few higher officials visited EMRS Bana and interacted with us regarding the School matter such as School building construction progress, food we provide to students, hygienic facilities of the School etc.

Today on 11-09-2020, EMRS Bana observed Universal Brotherhood Day. Programme started with three OMKARAS, significance of the day was highlighted by Principal EMRS Bana. Other Teachers also delivered speech on the importance of Brotherhood.All the present members offered floral tribute to Swamiji,Guru Ramakrishna and Maa Sarada respectively. The programme ended with SANTIMANTRA.Total 28 people attended the programme.

National Sports Day was observed in EMRS Bana and certain worksheets were sent to students. The importance of the day was narrated by Sri. R. Krishna moorthy Sir PT Teacher of EMRS Bana. On account of this occasion few games were conducted.
