VKV Kuporijo SS Latest News

This is a report on the participation at the Eastern India Science Fair  held at Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkata from 9th of January 2018 to 13th of January 2018. I, Suman Kondha, A/T (Adhoc) along with, Kr. Tabom Nilling of class X, VKV Kuporijo, boarded Sumo from  on 4th January evening to move to Silapathar. On 5th we reached Silapathar and from the moved to Dibrugarh and stayed for the day. On 6th January at 6:25pm we boarded the train to Kolkata (Dibrugarh-Howrah Kamrup Express).

On 8th January (day of reporting) morning 7:00am we reached Howrah station. We departed from the station and took a taxi to the venue of the Science Fair, BITM, Kolkata. We reached there at 8:00am. On reaching there, we were showed a place to freshen up. At 8:30am we were given breakfast in the Museum canteen. After breakfast we took some rest till the registration and accommodation of the participants began. From 10:00am onwards the procedure of registration and accommodation began. At 1:00pm we were given lunch at BITM canteen. Our accommodation was done at Salt Lake Stadium. We were to be taken there in the evening, so till then we got time to assemble our model. At 7:30pm we were given dinner and after dinner we were taken to Salt Lake, our place of accommodation. We reached there at 9:30pm. At night I prepared the student for the presentation next day. At 10:00pm we went to bed.

VKV  Kuporijo celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti  on 12th January 2018 by organising a colourful cultural programme . The programme bagan with ‘ Vande Mataram’.

Sri Tade Gumja, Secretary VKV Alumni , Upper Subansiri was the chief guest on  the occasion. Addressing the gathering he highlighted on the value of education in the present era and appealed  parents to take care of their children. He compared his childhood with the  present day changes  and urged all to come forward  to groom this institution.

Sri Tripur M.P. Chaubey, senior  teacher  spoke on the significance of the day.  Sri Ashis Chatterjee, Principal VKV Kuporijo , recalled the glory of India and adherence  of Swami Vivekananda’s  message  among youths.

The students presented patriotic song, drama  with the theme women empowerment  , Tagin dance, Adi dance, Nishyi Dance and Rajasthani  folk dance.

The programme was attended by 356 parents, well-wishers and VKV  alumni

VKV KUPORIJO wins District Level Science Exhibition on 16th November 2017.

Sri Tabom Nilling,  Class X bags the first position .

And model of Sri Roshan Hali , Class X  was adjudged as best sub theme.

Sri Tabom Nilling along with Sri Suman Kondha, escort teacher will proceed to Itanagar on 19th for State Level.

On 15th November School Level science exhibition was organised. A total of 25 models were exhibited out of that 12 working models were displayed.

VKV Kuporijo conducted 3 days  non residential Shibir from 2nd Oct to 4th Oct 2017.

The Shibir was inaugurated by Dr.B. Paul Dist Research Officer on 2nd October. He said " This Shibir will help students to learn every aspect of personality development".

On 3rd October Sri Tasa Motu,  Publicity secretary indigenous faith and culture took a session on Indigenous faith and culture . He touched the essence of it by vivid example.

11th September :  VKV Kuporijo celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day on 11th September . Sri A.K. Singh , Deputy Commissioner Daporijo was invited as  Chief Guest .  Addressing the gathering he expressed his satisfaction on the overall progress of the school.  He announced that the dist. administration will extend support to develop infrastructure and boundary for the school. He  told about a surprise package which he will give for this school in the coming days. He said “ The contribution of VKVs in the field of education is exemplary. It has brought a  lot of change  in the society”  He complimented VKV Kuporijo  Alumni  for donating Rs 125000 for the fire victims of New Market Daporijo.

Sri Tripur M.P. Chaubey , S.T  VKV Kuporijo presented on the significance of the day.

Kr. Vedaj  class- X , presented Chicago address .

Sri Ashis Chatterjee , Principal  VKV Kuporijo  welcomed the audience  and  presented a report on various activities and achievements of the school.

Sri Tako Siga, A.T. VKV Kuporijo  updated  parents about SBI collect and digital online banking.

A group of VKV Kuporijo Alumni headed by Sri Dular Dujom  brought the donation  amount and handed it  to representative of Bazar Committee New Market through DC Daporijo.  Few of them expressed their memories  of this school.

Sri Rajib Konwor, A.T. VKV Kuporijo  anchored the programme.

The meeting was followed by a cultural programme.

A total of 368 parents and well wishers attended the programme.

VKV Kuporijo conducted  Hindi Deshbhakti  Kavi  Sammelan on 28th January  2017. This Sammelan  gave a platform  to budding poets of  eleven schools to  present their self composed poem on  patriotism  and glory of India. Apart from host school following schools of Daporijo participated.

• Abotani  school, Govt. Sec. School Lida, Iman Memorial School, Blue Mount School, Govt. Sec. School Rijo, Govt. Bazar School, Subansiri Public School, Adarsh  School, Vivekananda Public  School, Si- Donyi Public School .

Every year VKV Kuporijo organises this Sammelan on the eve of Republic Day. Addressing  the students  Chief Guest  Ms. Nyari Tawe,  Hindi Lecturer Daporijo Govt. College appealed all to devout themselves  for nation building through education . She appreciated the talents of young upcoming poets of different schools .  Sri Ashis Chatterjee , Principal  VKV Kuporijo urged all to imbibe good values and  continue the skill of writing good composition. 215 students witnessed the programme. Sri J.B. Jadhav, Hindi teacher took initiative along with class IX students to coordinate and  arrange the programme.

The day  was observed by organising  various  events corresponding   with  Hindi language involving all the students . Attendance :  350 students

1. Exhibition of Hindi articles & collage ( 50 nos. )
2. Doggerel , Hymn  and  Odes
3. Speech on importance and promotion of language
4. Drama

On the occasion Dr. Nyage Gei, District Medical Officer, Daporijo  was the chief guest.   He recalled his connection with Swami Vivekananda movement in Arunachal Pradesh. He urged the students to develop the habit of hard work and follow the ideology of Swami Vivekananda. Kr. Mato Kyamdo delivered the speech which was delivered by Swamiji at Chicago. Sri Ashis Chatterjee , Principal VKV Kuporijo widely appealed  all to actively involve themselves to follow the path of Swami Vivekananda.  Around 259 well wishers, parents & students attended the programme. A cultural programme was also arranged.
