The celebration of Swamiji Jayanti was exuberant in our school .The parents of our Vidyalaya, alumni members, well wishers and other guests witnessed a beautiful programme on the occasion of this celebration. The programme started at 9.30 am by the lighting of lamp by Smt. Koda Rakhi, CO, Kimin and Dr. B.N Sharma, Vice chancellor, Arunodaya University, Itanagar. Prize for inter VKV essay writing competition was given to Kr. Gocham Tarak by the Chief Guest. In her speech, Chief Guest quoted the words of Swami Vivekananda and explained how it can motivate the youths of India. She also asked the students to make swamiji as their hero. Our special guest Dr. B.N Sharma distributed books of Swami Vivekananda to parents and asked the class X children to get the book from school. He instructed the parents to devote certain time for the development of society and nation. After the inaugural session, there was a vivid cultural event took place by the students of different classes like Patriotic song, Patriotic Dance, Mime-swami Vivekananda etc. The programme was culminated with Shanti Mantra.
