Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tafrogam celebrated Matri Puja, a special event to honor and express gratitude towards parents on 30th January 2025. The program was a huge success, with enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents. The parents of all the students participated enthusiastically in this puja.
The program began with a warm welcome and introduction by our Principal, Smt. Manisha Devi. Students presented a vibrant and mesmerized group song highlighting mothers' importance in our lives.
Our Chief Guest Sri. Wijali Manyu Kri, Alumna of VKV Tafrogam, Writer, Entrepreneur beautifully highlighted the importance of Matri Puja. She inspired the students with a motivational speech, emphasizing the significance of mothers in shaping our lives and society.
The highlight of the event was the Matri Puja ceremony, where students worshiped their mothers and sought their blessings. Su. Suravi Didi, teacher of VKV Tafrogam conducted the puja.  
The program concluded with a sharing experience of students and parents. It was the highlight of today’s celebration, where the whole place filled with lots of emotions and happiness. The parents expressed their gratitude towards Vivekananda Kendra for organizing such type of programmes in all the VKVs.
The event witnessed active participation from students of class 10, who showcased their active participation. The parents blessed the daughters for their upcoming Class X Board Examination and their bright future.  79 parents of 41 students were present in the programme.
The Matri Puja celebration was a memorable event that reinforced the importance of mothers in our lives. It was a great and enthusiastic celebration.
