The auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and devotion. The event was graced by the presence of our School Supporting Group, whose participation added warmth and meaning to the occasion.
The program commenced with an invocation, invoking blessings for harmony and brotherhood, followed by significance of the day. The first symbolic Rakhi was tied to Swami Vivekananda, Ekanath ji followed by the tying of Rakhi’s to Sri Ramakrishna and Sarada Amma, signifying respect, protection, and unity. Thereafter, Rakhis were tied to the members of the School Supporting Group, followed by teaching staffs, non teaching staffs, students, and creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.
As a mark of gratitude and solidarity towards the protectors of our nation, a group of students visited the 181 Bn Army Camp in Lohitpur, where they tied Rakhis to the soldiers. This gesture was a heartfelt tribute to their service, sacrifice, and dedication towards safeguarding the country. The celebration beautifully reflected the values of love, respect, protection, and mutual care that Raksha Bandhan stands for. The event concluded with a sense of unity and happiness among all participants.
