
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Chayang Tajo, celebrated Guru Purnima, a day of gratitude, reverence, and self-reflection. The programme was graced by Sri Taje Keyang Ji, Chairman of the Central Nyedar Namlo Committee, Chayang Tajo, as the Chief Guest.
The celebration included a welcome song by Classes VII and VIII, a welcome speech, an address on the significance of Guru Purnima, felicitation of guests, a group dance, Guru Vandana, and a speech by the Chief Guest. Sri Taje Keyang Ji highlighted the importance of gurus and acknowledged the role of parents, family members, friends, and teachers in guiding us from ignorance towards knowledge and noble character.
An Amrit Parivar Milan was also organised with a discussion on “Our Traditional Culture and Today’s Youth.” Participants took a sankalp to introduce children to their unique traditional culture. Parents and well-wishers also enthusiastically participated in “Main–Parivar–Samaj–Rashtra” and “Hathi Ghora Palki” games.
The programme was attended by 47 parents, 8 family members, 13 staff members, and 53 students, leaving everyone with meaningful insights on gratitude, family values, and cultural identity.
