Inauguration of VKV Mukto
VKV Mukto, the 37th VKV of Arunachal Pradesh was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Shri Pema Khandu in the presence of Union Minister of state for Home Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju on 25th June 2018.
The Hon'ble Chief Minister said that starting VKV Mukto and dedicating it to people is one of his cherished and most deserving works that he had done so far. While speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister acknowledged the contribution made by VKVs in Arunachal Pradesh.
Union Minister of state for Home Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju said that VKVs imparts man making and nation building education stressing all round development of the children.
The students of VKV Kitpi Tawang performed band display and patriotic dance on the occasion.
At the beginning HCM and other dignitaries were received with traditional attire and untied the scarf at the gate. Unveiling of inauguration slab with lighting lamp followed with Buddhist chants marked the historic day with addition of one more vkv at Tawang.
Joint Secretary VKVAPT Shri Rupesh Mathur, Joint Secretary, VKVs Arunachal Pradesh welcomed the gathering and informed them about various activities undertaken by Vivekananda Kendra in Arunachal Pradesh.
Shri Rinchen Dorjee a trustee of VKVs Arunachal Pradesh Trust (also the President of Monpa Mimang Tshokpa) presented statue of Swami Vivekananda to the visiting dignitaries.
Shri Rinchin Norbu, Chairman School Support Group of VKV Kitpi presented vote of thanks.
The others present in the occasion included Hon'ble Parliamentary Secretary RWD, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Jambey Tashi, Hon'ble MLA Tawang Shri Tsering Tashi, Padmashree Lama Thupten Phuntsok, Deputy Commissioner Tawang Shri Sang Phuntsok (IAS), and many officers from the Administrative and Engineering Departments along with Public Leaders.
