Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Pasighat celebrated  Shree Krishna Janmashtami with great devotion and enthusiasm in the school premises. The celebration commenced with an Invocation prayer, seeking the blessings of the Almighty, followed by a Guru Bhajan. Significance of the day was told to them, including short kathas of Sri Krishna ji related to Kaliya daman and Gowardhan Parvat. Concerned teachers led the Krishna bhajan in a beautiful, lead-and-follow style, and the students enthusiastically joined in, filling the atmosphere with divine energy and devotion. A special highlight of the programme was little Krishna posing in Krishna postures with a photo session, capturing the joyous and memorable moments of the day. Towards the conclusion, everyone chanted the shanti mantra together and offered flowers to Lord Shree Krishna. To bring the sweetness of the programme, sweet was distributed among students. The celebration left a mark of devotion and joy among all present.

VKV Khazalang celebrates Independence Day with great patriotic zeal and enthusiasm on 15th August 2025. The celebration began early in the morning with a Prabhat Pheri where students, teachers, and staff marched through the nearby streets carrying the tri colour National Flag, shouting Slogans and spreading the message of unity and freedom.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Pasighat celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 15th August 2025. The school campus was decorated with tricolour flags, flowers, and an unsung heroes photo collage, creating an atmosphere filled with national pride. The program commenced with a flag-hosting ceremony conducted by the respected Principal, Smt. Bindu D. Nair, followed by the singing of the National Anthem by all present, instilled a deep sense of patriotism among the gathering. The celebration included a talk on the importance of the day, a series of cultural performances like Independence Day action song and Patriotic song by the talented students of VKV Pasighat, which filled the atmosphere with devotion towards the nation. A spirited Nara was also held with students energetically.  The program concluded with a photo session, capturing the joyous and memorable moments of the day. The highlight of the program was instead of distributing sweets, fruits were distributed among students to give the message to eat healthy food, say no to junk food for a healthy India.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Pasighat celebrated the auspicious occasion of Vidyalaya Pravesh Pooja on 5th August 2025, with great devotion, enthusiasm and spiritual fervour. The event marked the formal Commencement of the academic year with prayers for wisdom, prosperity, and success in learning. The ceremony began at 7:45 am with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by  Donyi-Polo Yelam Kabang Prayer, also followed by Ganpati Pooja and created a spiritual atmosphere. Teachers, Students, Staff and invited guests Mananeeya Hanumantha Rao ji, Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyaumari, Su. Sujata Nayak, Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas Arunachal Pradesh Trust, Sri Odhuk Tabing, Deputy Director of School Education, East Siang District, Smt. Yamo Tamut, Assistant Commissioner, DC office, Vivekananda Kendra Alumni Association East Siang Belt, and well-wishers participated wholeheartedly in the rituals.

NMMSS Results 2024-25 

117 out of 122 students selected are from VKVs Arunacha Pradesh

Glad to share that - Kr. Dishant Bezbaruah, Class-IX VKV Nirjuli, stood 3rd at the National level National Meteorological Olympiad held at Delhi.   He also got to interact with Honble Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi.  Hearty Congratulations to Dishnat and  to Team VKV Nirjuli.

Rigio Banu, Aryan Parasar and Phassang Reniam, VKV Itanagar also won prizes both at the state and national levels

The Olympiad was held on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Indian Meteorological Department.
