Celebration of Swami Vivekananda Janma Tithi at VKV Niausa
VKV Niausa celebrated the pious Janma Tithi of Swami Vivekananda at its school assembly ground on 21st January 2025. Though the preparation was started a few days back to make the programme more colourful. The Parents and well-wishers gathered from everywhere to witness the cultural programme at 11 am. The programme started with the lightening of the lamp by our chief guest Sri Kamjat Ajang ji, circle officer, Longchan circle of Longding district, followed by Mangalacharan.
Sri Sanjib Kumar Kar Principal of VKV Niausa Welcome all with his warm speech and the significance of the day was highlighted by Sri. Bijay Kr. Ray Sir. The Students of class VIII greet the audience with their welcome song ‘Hame Dekhni Hain Azadi.’ The chief guest expressed his gratitude towards the school for its multidimensional activities to shape the young minds of this region and appeal to students, to be self-motivated by the life and works of Swamiji. The students who had shown their merit and skill in their Scholastic and Co-scholastic areas throughout the session were awarded the proficiency prizes by the chief guest which came from VKVAPT.
The traditional dances, action songs, drama & group dances of boys and girls grabbed the attention of the viewers and collected admiration. The excitement of parents could be seen on their happy faces when their children were performing different cultural activities. The programme came to a wonderful conclusion with the vibrant Yoga demonstration by the students of classes IV and V. The vote of thanks was proposed by Sri Pronob Bora sir, followed by Shanti mantra.
Approximately 250 parents and 160 students were present in the programme & the whole programme was anchored by Sri Bijay Kr . Ray, Teacher of the school. After the program,e all students and parents have taken lunch together.
