VKV Niausa SS Latest News

This year National Youth Day, the birthday of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated in Longding. It was organised collectively  by VKV Alumni Longding dist, Arunjyoti Longding , VKV Niausa and VKV Senua.

The programme started with mass procession  where a large number of well wishers , alumni members,  parents along with students of VKV Niausa and Senua joined . They were carrying placards , shouting slogans and singing patriotic songs .

‘Yoga’ the great legacy of India is being celebrated beyond the boundaries in more than 150 countries on 21/06/2019. We are proud to educate our students to maintain their mind and body in a perfect balance. Sri Manoj Kr. Mahato and Smt. Nabanita Kundu conducted the session making the participants to perform several Asanas and  Pranayamas. They emphasised over the practice of Yoga in daily life which made everyone to ponder over  its   importance. Our students and staff attended the session with zeal and enthusiasm.

In a rejoicing news  for the entire people of Longding district and the state as a whole, Kr. Maowang Wangham of class v from VKV Niausa bagged the very prestigious national award in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE Competition 2018 for his innovation.

It is a national level competition held every year to churn out original technological ideas and innovations from amongst the childrens up to class 12 or those out of school up to the age of 17yrs.,  organised by NIF (National Innovation Foundation) to promote creativity and originality among childrens. The name of the winners were announced on 15th Oct. 2018 , on late APJ Abdul Kalam’s birthday, which is celebrated as Children’s Creativity and Innovation Day by NIF.

Kr. Mantong Boham class- ix and
Kr. William Chaiwang Wangsa class - ix
secured 3rd position in Dist. Level Science Congress at Longding on 12th October 2018. Nine schools(20 groups) participated in the event.
Project Title : Solid waste management with special reference to recycling of plastic.

A  colourful  cultural programme was organised on the occasion . Students presented Chicago address of Swamiji,  drama, skit and traditional dance . Sri Noksa Saham  , ZPM Longding was the chief guest on the occasion. He shared his experiences as an alumni of Ramakrishna Mission . He advised students to utilize the golden opportunity of being a student of VKV .

Sri Ashis Chatterjee welcomed all the parents and well wishers and drew attention at the present scenario and  emphasised on Swamijis  ideals to be incorporated in society.

VKV Niausa conducted Parents Meeting of class iv and v on 28th July 2018.

Sri Ashis Chatterjee , principal , stressed on skills of parenting. All the subject teachers presented a brief report on students performance . In general parents were very satisfied with the study atmosphere in the school. They want to build up good rapport with  teachers.They suggested to develop language and values among students.
The parents were informed about  various activities of Vivekananda Kendra.
