With great enthusiasm and gaiety,universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated at VKV Tafrogam. The programme started at 11:30 am,after the programme of Vivekananda Kendra at Kanyakumari ,where MananeeyaBalakrishnanji,the present president of Vivekananda Kendra and Rock Memorial at kanyakumari,shared his thoughts and messages to the large audience across the country.Thestaffs of VKV Tafrogam could become the part of this mega event.

Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th September as an occasion to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts and handwork of our teachers in making us a sophisticated and responsible individual.VKV. Tafrogam has celebrated Teachers’ Day 2020 amid covid-19 pandemic. In the morning at 9:30 all the teaching faculty gathered in the staff room and the program began  with the lighting of the lamp by Sri P.K. Pandey sir followed by the invocation prayer. A short speech on the significance of the day was delivered by Sri Shanmukhan. We fondly remembered Dr. Sarvepalli  Radha krishnan and offered flowers to his image to mark the day. The program was concluded after having some fun games in the playground with the teaching and non teaching staff followed by Refreshment.

VKV Tafragam celebrated the welcome of Shree Ganesha in a very traditional and simple way on 22/08/2020. Tafrogam family wished everone (Parents ,Children,well wishers) on Ganesh Jaturthi with e-card. Eco friendly idol as well as decoration was prepared.The programme started at 5:30 p.m with three Omkars and followed by a short speech given by Su.Roshni Vishwakarma on the importance of the day. Puja vidhi was instructed by Sri.Pradeep Kr Pandey,CIC Lohit Cluster followed by bhajan,aarti. Everyone offered flowers and seeked lord's blessings. The program ended with Kendra Prathana & Shanti Mantra. Distribution of prasad completed the essence of the program. Puja of Ganesha Idol will be done for three days.

Eknath Ramkrishna Ranade (19 Nov 1914- 22 AUGUST 1982), popularly known as Eknath Ji,was a social activist and leader,motivated by twin spirits of nationalism and spiritualism and founder president of Vivekananda Kendra.

A small programme was arranged for giving shradhanjali to Eknath Ji Ranade after the morning prayer. Principal,Smt.Shanthi Manoharan spoke about the life of EkNath Ji,his struggles & contribution to the nation. Shradhanjali was given to him by all the teaching and non-teaching staff by offering flowers. A small Swadhya was arranged in the prayer hall after the morning prayer on the book Sadhna of Service on the last Chapter with Sri.Pradeep Kr Pandey,CIC ,Lohit Cluster and the teaching & non-teaching staff. 74 th Independence was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at VKV Tafrogam. The ceremony started at 7:30 AM in the school open ground with staff members(teaching and non-teaching).

The programme started with flag hosting by Sri.Pradeep Kr Pandey,CIC Lohit cluster followed by National Anthem and Vande Mataram song.A very refreshing speech was given by Sri.Pradeep Kr Pandey sir highlighting the significance of the day. Sir also highlighted about the growth of the nation. Patriotic song was sung by the teachers and the programme ended with the slogan "KHUN BHI DENGE, JAAN BHI DENGE, DESH KI MITTI KABHI NAHI DENGE", BHARAT MATA KI JAI.

VKV Tafragam family wished students, psrents,well wishers,staff of other vidyalaya etc on Krishna Janmashtami through e-card. A small programme was arranged by cultural In-Charges in the prayer hall at evening from 5:30 pm.

Prayer hall was beautified with rangoli ,Diyas,insence sticks,aam pata ,flowers etc and programme started with 3 Omkars followed by EK MANTRA. A speech was given by Su.Dhan Kunwar on the significance of the day followed by puja. Sri.Pradeep Kr Pandey guided us for the puja followed by bhajans. A blissfull environment was created . Every staff member along with their family members offered flowers and did Aart in a very devotional way. The programme ended with Shanti Mantra and distribution of sweets.

Raksha Bandhan festival was celebrated in VKV Tafragam with all pomp and gaiety by the members of VKV Tafragam family. All the teaching and non-teaching members participated with their family members.

A small programme was organised in the prayer hall. Sri.Jitendra Chauhan ,Hindi teacher spoke on the significance of the day. Later Rakhi was offered to “OM” and the Trinities Sri.Rama Krishna Paramhansa, Ma Sarada and Swami Vivekananda. Also to Ek Nath Ji Ranade. And asked for their blessings.  Later Rakhis were tied to the bhaiya’s (supporting staff) by our Didi’s. And all the didis tied Rakhi to Principal didi Smt.Shanthi Manoharan, Sri.Pradeep Kr Pandey, CIC and asked for their blessings too.

Rakha Bandhan wishes send to all the students, parents and well wishers.

As it is our duty to protect the nature Rakhis were tied to the trees and plants on the campus as well as the dogs inside our campus because they protect us. Later sweets were distributed.

Sri.Kurleso Ngadong,Vibhag Sanchalak of Vivekananda Kendra,Lohit Vibhag  and also parent of VKV Tafragam arranged for Indigenous faith puja in the school on 5th July at 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm  Local pujari Sri.Solai Ngadong Ji from Tezu conducted the puja in the prayer hall. The puja was performed maintaining social distancing. Along with him around 8 women , all of them were Indigenous faith members participating in the puja. All the teaching and non-teaching staff were present. The Programme began with Welcome address by our Principal Smt.Shanthi Manoharan after that  Sri Pradeep Kr Pandey, CIC highlighted on the work taken by the VKV’s  in not only imparting quality education but also working for the preservation of indigenous faith in the society of Arunachal Pradesh . They all were felicitated by the school authorities.Two bhajan in Mishmi Language and also Mishmi Prayer were performed in their traditional way . Entire prayer hall filled with serene atmosphere. Indigenous faith flag was placed in two places one at the gate and other near Amik Matai Temple in the campus. Program ended with Shanti Mantra and vote of thanks by Sri.Rajeev Kr Singh and distribution of sweets.
