Prachodaya-Be The Light Workshop at VKV Tafrogam

The Prachodaya Be The Light Workshop was successfully conducted in our school today with active participation from the 64 selected students of Classes IX and X, 32 from each. The programme began with Shanti Paath, a welcome address by the principal, and inaugural remarks by the Chief Guest, Dr. Kangki Megu, Principal of IGG College. A special lecture was conducted for Classes IX and X, encouraging them to cultivate discipline, clarity of thought, and leadership qualities. This was followed by Geet, Suryanamaskar Abhyas, and Khel, which created enthusiasm and team spirit among the participants.
The highlight of the workshop was Manthan, a one-hour group discussion, where students of Classes IX and X engaged in meaningful conversations and shared their reflections. After the discussions, the students gave their group presentations, which were collectively summed up. This was followed by Margadarshan, delivered by one of the alumni of VKV, Dr. Tangkhenso Tamai, who shared valuable insights and motivated the students with real-life experiences. The session was truly impactful for the young learners. Out of 64 total students, 39 were selected for Prachodaya Camp.
The workshop concluded with 11 times Om-kar chanting, silence, and Avalokan for self-reflection, and finally the Shanthi Mantra. The Prachodaya Camp Workshop proved to be a highly enriching experience, instilling confidence, unity, and positive thinking in the students.
