National Child Science Congress Observed - VKV Wessang

VKV Wessang and KGBV Wessang got first and third position respectively in district level NCSC 19.

With a view to promoting positive thinking, team sprit overall dynamism in students, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Wessang, East Kameng District conducted a one day personality development camp in the school campus. About 41 young aspirants of V.K.V, Wessang and nearby schools participated in the camp. The number of activities outlined during the camp included session on Swami Vivekananda, Tips for Personality Development, Pariksha de Haste Haste, games like Chunu Munu ki Mithai, passing of coins, Yoga and group discussion. Some of the noteworthy features of the program are mentioned here

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya is known for its discipline, the parents have to give utmost care for their children, and Uses of mobile phone should be restricted for the school going children. Women should take part in each and every aspect of life like socially, politically and economically

Spoke about the steps to reach the desired goal by the children, for that goal need to be specific, preparing the action plan and believing in yourselves.

Yoga and games session was taken By Sristi Rai, Beauti Sonowal and Medona Darang(Teachers, Wessang).Shibir Geet was performed by Simphe Tiawary(Taecher, Wessang). Overall Coordination was done by Karupasami N and N.K Pathak(Teachers Wessang)


A science exhibition was held at V.K.V Wessang campus here on 24 of November 2018. Sri S.D Pandey, Lecturer from DIET, Seppa Inaugurated it. The students from class V (five) to Class X (ten) exhibited their innovative talents
With the key objective of bringing the hidden talents of science, technology and innovation, the exhibition was organized with the theme of WASTE TO HEALTH
In this exhibition a total of 37 projects were exhibited by 137 students in their respective groups. The students and staffs of OJU Mission school were visited the Exhibition to witnessed it.

VKV Wessang has celebrated The Birth Anniversary of Eknathji Remade.. Total students 350 and 16 teachers from VKV, KGBV and RMSA have attended the programme.

International Yoga Day was celebrated at VKV WESSANG where 300 students and all the staffs of the school participated. Sir please find photographs of International Yoga Day celebration at VKV wessang attached herewith.

Matri puja was celebrated at VKV, Wessang on 17th Feb.2018 in the school auditorium. The puja was conducted by Sri Krishna Kumar sir. The Principal of EMRS Bana also graced the occasion with his presence. The puja was attended by twenty one students of VKV and RMSA Wessang along with their mothers. Two students of VKV Wessang as well as Parents shared their experience of Matri Puja .
The Utsarg Samaroh was held at VKV Wessang on 20th and 21st February 2018. The Samaroh was inaugurated with an inaugural function held at the school Auditorium at 4 P.M. The function was attended by Shree N. Kumaravel, cluster
In-charge, Kameng cluster, Chief guest Shree Govind Khandekar Ji, six resource teachers- Shree M. Maharana and Shree Arun Babu from VKV Nivedita Vihar, Shree N. Prabhakaran and Shree Sanjeeb Sonowal from VKV Seijosa, Shree Lakhi Nath Handique and Shree Gauranga Das from VKV Wessang. The Principal and teachers of VKV Wessang along with 29 students of standard tenth of VKV and RMSA Wessang took part in the ‘Utsav.’ The inaugural function was followed by two Hari Om Session addressed by Shree S.D. Pandey and Smt. Valsala Kumari Lecturers DIET Seppa, respectively. This was followed by the ‘Vande Mataram’ session that got over at 9 P.M.
On 21st February the Samaroh resumed with Pratahsmaran and Yoga. After the morning Assembly there was another Hari Om Session addressed by Shree Taluk Kilo lecturer DIET Seppa. This was followed by subject classes taken by the resource teachers. The Samaroh came to end with the Valedictory function in which students as well as resource teachers shared their experiences of the ‘Utsarg Samaroh.’ The Camp Report was presented by Shree Pramod Kr. Gupta, teacher VKV Wessang. The programme was concluded at 5:30 P.M. with the chanting of Shanti Mantra.

Children from class VI to X prepared science model and experiments as fun in science on 03/12/2018 in the school building veranda .Students from Oju Mission primary school, Wessang was invited for the exhibition. There were 30 models on various themes, topics and experiments as magic in science had been showcased by our students.Sri Jadav Dehingia the Principal of Oju Mission was the chief guest to inaugurate the exhibition .
