VKV Wessang successfully conducted a Parents' Orientation Programme on 7th June 2025 at 2:00 PM, immediately after the school hours.
The programme aimed to familiarise the parents of newly admitted students (Classes 3 to 9) with the vision, mission, and functioning of the school.

The programme was graced by Shri Papu Lamgu, Chairman of the School Supporting Group (SSG), who addressed the gathering with his valuable words of guidance.
A total of 30 parents attended the session.

The orientation was organised with contributions from various teachers, each assigned specific responsibilities as follows:

1. Welcome Address and Brief History of VRM, VK, VKV, and VKAJ – Shri Dhan Bo

2. Self-Introduction by Staff – All teaching and non-teaching staff

3. Presentation on School Philosophy and System – Shri Pankaj Kumar

4. Visual Display of School Activities – Shri B. Pragashpathy

5. Academic Curriculum and Assessment Overview – Shri Pranab Gogoi

6. Daily Routine, Discipline, Uniforms, and Meals – Shri R. Krishnamoorthy

7. Communication Methods and Parental Role – Shri Arjun Tamang

8. Feedback Session by Parents

9. Words of Guidance – Shri Papu Lamgu, Chairman, SSG

10. Vote of Thanks – Smt. Kanchan Yadav, followed by Shanti Mantra

11. Light Refreshments and Visharjan

The programme concluded with a positive interaction between parents and staff, promoting a sense of shared responsibility in the holistic development of the students.

On the 30th of January 2025, VKV & KGBV Wessang conducted Matri Puja for class X students of both KGBV & VKV Wessang.
The programme was kept after the 5th period (i.e., at 11:20 a.m.).
A total no. of 40 students’ parents attended out of 50 parents.
Shri Zaro Lingfa, District Project Coordinator (DPC), Seppa cum Well-Wisher was the Guest of the day.
Due to less accommodation, parents (father) and other guardians were arranged to sit outside the hall.
The total numbers of attendants were 138 persons (male: 33, female: 105) including staff and a few students.
The programme was vibrant and concluded successfully by 2:00 p.m.
A Saatvik bhojan was also arranged after the programme.

Our school, both VKV & KGBV Wessang celebrated Swamiji’s Jayanti on the 21st of January 2025 at our school campus.
The Programme started at 10:30 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. in which a total nos. of 346 students (boys 85 & girls 261) and 25 teachers (male 16 & female 9) were present in the celebration.
A few parents were also present at the celebration.

Three guests were invited from Krishi Vigyaan Kendra (KVK) namely:
1) Shri PP Tripathi, Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) on Plant Protection
2) Shri AK Pandey, Subject Matter Specialist (SMS), Soil Science, KVK,
3) Dr Vipin Mishra, Subject Matter Specialist (SMS), Fishery, KVK.

The programme started with 3 Omkaras followed by the Ekya mantra. The Principal, VKV Wessang gave the welcome address followed by a speech on the significance of the day by one of the teachers named Shri Pankaj Kumar.

A few cultural activities such as traditional dance, classical dance, pyramid etc. were also performed by the students.

Prizes distribution was also done after this. There was a speech given by the Guest of the day.
The following points were highlighted during his speech such as:
i) Vivekananda Kendra’s work and its achievement.
ii) Great opportunity for students to be a part of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya for moulding themselves.
iii) Moral-based education with good sanskara given by the school etc.

On 25th of December, 2024, VKV Wessang including KGBV Wessang celebrated Samarth Bharat Parva along with Atal Bihari Vajpayee & Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviaji’s Jayanti at the Prayer hall from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 noon.
A total number of 49 persons including 35 males & 14 females attended the celebration.
The program was started with deep prajwalan followed by mangalacharan. After this, Malyarpan was done to Bharat Mata, Swamiji, Mahamana & Atalji by Dhan Bo, Principal VKV Wessang, Tajit Nalo, Principal KGBV Wessang, SC Trigunayat, Senior teacher, Government Higher Secondary School Pampoli, Ashutoshji, lecturer, DIET, Seppa.
A patriotic song was presented by the teachers of both KGBV & VKV Wessang on the theme ‘Rashtra ki jay chetna ka gaan.’
Dhan Bo, Principal, VKV Wessang welcomed the house present & also highlighted the significance of the day.
Pankaj Kumar, Sanskrit Teacher, gave the speech of Samarth Bharat Parva. A patriotic song (Dharma ke liye jiye..) was presented by Students of KGBV Wessang. Speech on life of Pt.Madan Mohan Malviaji was given by Sh.SC Trigunayat, teacher GHSS Pampoli. After this, a speech was given by Shri Pranab Gogoi, teacher VKV Wessang on Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Kavita path were presented by few members. After this, shri Pankaj Kumar explained about Maithreem Bhajatha. Deep Prajwalan was done after this followed by the audio display on it.
A guided meditation on Samarth Bharat was also done by Pankaj Kumar.
In the end, Pushpanjali ceremony was done followed by Vande Mataram audio display.
Shri Arjun Tamang gave vote of thanks and concluded the programme successfully with shanti mantra.

On 21^st June 2022, VKV Wessang celebrated “International Day of Yoga” with 3 (three) neighbouring schools namely Oju Mission School, Government Higher Secondary School, Pampoli and Government Higher Secondary School, Seppa in grand manner.

Students of our School (VKV WESSANG) bagged 1st and 2nd Positions among 8 groups of various schools in District level 29th National Children Science Congress.

They are as follows:

2) Second Position (VKV Wessang) :

A) Km Shruti Devi, Class X

B) Km Tacho Tabu, Class X

B) Km Meso Ghadi, Class X

VKV Wessang has Celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi.The programme was vibrant. Panditji from Shiva Temple Seppa was called for puja- archana. All involved actively.
