
To commemorate Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, the school organized a series of outreach programs across 10 different locations, aiming to spread the ideals of Swami Vivekananda—service to humanity, self-belief, and national awakening.
The outreach activities were conducted at nearby government schools, community centres, and adopted village areas. Students and teachers participated with great enthusiasm, truly reflecting the spirit of “Serve Man, Serve God” as advocated by Swamiji.
At the government schools, students delivered short speeches on Swami Vivekananda’s life and teachings, conducted value-based activities, distributed proficiency prizes, chanted Vande Mataram, performed Aarati to Bharat Mata, and presented cultural programs. Students also shared Swamiji’s quotations and interacted with local residents, emphasizing the importance of character building.
The interactions fostered an atmosphere of warmth, respect, and emotional bonding. The outreach programs concluded with a pledge to uphold Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of courage, service, and unity, making the initiative meaningful and impactful in instilling social responsibility and patriotic values among students.
Additionally, 133 students from Classes IX to XI participated in the Swadeshi Run organized by the Sports and Youth Affairs Department, further reinforcing the spirit of youth empowerment and nationalism.

The inaugural ceremony of Samartha Bharat Parv 2025–26 was held on 25th December 2025 at 9:00 AM in the school auditorium. The programme was attended by 130 students, teachers, and non-teaching staff.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by an invocation song and the singing of “Vande Mataram” led by students of Class XI. The Principal, Shri A. Krishnan, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the importance of Samartha Bharat Parv, the significance of “Vande Mataram,” Bharat’s global contributions, and the role of youth in making Bharat a Jagat Guru.
The programme concluded with floral offerings to Bharat Mata and the inauguration of five wall magazines prepared by students of Classes IX to XI, showcasing articles on Samartha Bharat.

Library Week was celebrated in our school from November 19 to 26, 2025, with great enthusiasm and active participation from students of all classes. The celebration aimed to promote reading habits, encourage creativity, and develop communication, artistic, and writing skills among students. Throughout the week, various competitions such as Drawing, Poem Recitation, Storytelling, and Essay Writing were organized.

The National Science Seminar 2025 was held on 30 October 2025 at the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), Bengaluru. The seminar focused on the theme “Quantum Age Begins: Potential and Challenges,” engaging young learners in discussions on the rapidly advancing field of quantum science and its transformative potential.
A total of 36 students from Classes 8 to 10, representing various states and union territories across India, participated in the prestigious event.
The programme commenced at 9:00 AM with an inaugural ceremony graced by distinguished dignitaries. The Chief Guest was Dr P. C. Deshmukh, an eminent atomic and quantum physicist. The Guest of Honour was Dr Urvashi Sinha, a professor at Raman Research Institute. The programme concluded at 9:30 PM
A moment of great pride for Arunachal Pradesh came when Aryan Parasar, a Class 9 student of VKV Itanagar, secured the Second Prize at the national level. His presentation was appreciated for its clarity, depth of understanding, and innovative perspective on the seminar theme. His achievement reflects the growing scientific enthusiasm among students of the state. His participation and success were guided and mentored by Sri. Avinash Sonar, whose support and direction played an instrumental role in the preparation of slides and enhancing the overall presentation skills through continuous guidance and constructive feedback.
