Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Itanagar laid foundation stone (Bhoomi Pujan) on 4th November 2019 for new primary building site construction in indigenous faith ritual known as "Sichit Aane". Nyadar Namlo society had taken initiative to perform the ritual in which the priest chanted hymns to seek permission & forgiveness from mother earth to our actions that disturb the equilibrium of mother earth. Then the priests appeased the mother earth with their hymns to nullify the bad effects & bring positive energy & blessings to all the school environment. The mere purpose of the building is for welfare of society.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Itanagar dated on 2nd November 2019 had special presence in school assembly of Shri. R. Thangrajaji a karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari. He was on his Bharat Parikrama to spread the Swami Vivekananda’s message across the country. His Parikrama is especially to mark the 50 years of completion of Vivekananda Rock Memorial Kanyakumari. (Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat)
Dr. Kakade Rajendra Chhagan Principal welcomed & felicitated him with tocken of love.
Shri. R. Thangrajaji took separate sessions to addressed the students and teachers in which he interacted with students and shared his experience of long journey. He also clarified his motives behind this long Parikrama to all the students.

NSS unit of VKV Itanagar observed Ekta Diwas on 31.10.2019 in morning assembly there was speech by one of the NSS volunteer on biography of Sardar Valabhbahi Patel. Class VI to XII Students & teachers took an oath to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation in the spirit of unification of the county. This was followed by Run for Unity headed by the class IX students in in campus. Thereafter students also engaged themselves in reading, writing and discussing about the life history and contribution of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel towards making of India.

The 27th Disrict level National Children Science Congress was held on 18th October 2019 in Govt Higher Secondary School Itanagar .The focal theme of the NCSC was

“ Science Technology and Innovation for Clean Green and Healthy Nation”.

Out of 9 teams 7 different Schools participated in this competition. Four Schools were awarded for their performance and they are going to participate in State Level National Children Science Congress.

The Winners are as follows:-

Kr Saumik Bera and Kr Bakin Nasho of Class XI sc represented VKV Itanagar and begged first position.
VKV Nirjuli-2nd Position
Don Bosco School and Delhi Public School-3rd Position.

The group was guided for NCSC by Manoj Shah, Biology Teacher VKV Itanagar.

First of all I introduced Health and Physical Education Program, Physical fitness test and Khelo India Program as well as Health Card and their importance to all the class teachers in a staff meeting.

I am maintaining the year-plan, monthly-plan and weekly-plan ,which are regularly submitted to the principal sir, and also maintaining daily activity record.

I have been conducting Krida Varga for students and also for the residential teachers. The Military drill and Kendra drill for the students is also going on.

Our school uploaded the data of students of class I to XII on the website of Khelo India Program. All the tests are demonstrated to the students and the physical fitness tests are going on.

In morning assembly 3 times Bharat Mata ki Jai,3 times Vande Mataram and visarjan with Jai Hind has been implemented.

Class wise training of Mass P.T.,Suryanamaskar ,Yogasanas and Pranayamas is going on.

STRAND-1 Games –I have given the training of football and volleyball to the students.

SEWA- On the occasion of Universal Brotherhood day the students of class IX(A,B) and X(A,B) have taken the initiative of Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan.

I am trying my level best to improve my spoken English by speaking with staff members and the students.
