Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Mukto celebrated Samarth Bharat Parv from 25 December 2025 to 12 January 2026 with devotion, discipline, and patriotic spirit. The celebration aimed to instill national values, cultural awareness, and the vision of a strong and self-reliant India among students.

During this period, daily morning assemblies featured short speeches by teachers and students on Indian culture, national values, Swami Vivekananda’s ideals, India’s contributions in various fields, health and hygiene, and the concept of Samarth Bharat. Vande Mataram and Swadesh Mantra were sung during the assemblies, and Bharat Mata Aarti was performed every evening, fostering patriotism and cultural values.

As part of community outreach, two outreach programs were conducted—at Jang on 7 January 2026 and Khirmu on 8 January 2026. The programs included patriotic songs, Swadesh Mantra and Vande Mataram singing, PPT presentations highlighting the activities and achievements of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya and Vivekananda Kendra, speeches, and cultural performances by students. A total of 84 participants attended both outreach programs.

The celebration concluded with the National Youth Day programme on 12 January 2026, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The programme was graced by Shri Hakraso Kri Sir, ADC Jang, as Chief Guest; Shri Hinchon Perme, CO Mukto Bongkhar Circle, as Guest of Honour; and Shri Pema Tsering, ZPM Mukto, as Special Guest.

The event featured cultural dances, Swadesh Mantra recitation in English and the local language, a drama on the life and message of Swami Vivekananda, a PPT presentation highlighting the work of Vivekananda Kendra, and an action song based on Swamiji’s inspiring quotes. The programme successfully reinforced the ideals of youth empowerment, character building, and national service.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Mukto celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day on 11th September 2025 with great enthusiasm and reverence, commemorating Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago on 11th September 1893. The day was observed to spread the message of unity, peace, and harmony as envisioned by Swamiji. The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp and invocation. A welcome song sung by students set the spirit of the day, followed by the welcome address. The program was graced by distinguished guests – Shri Jiarul Hoque, Doctor, PHE, Mukto, Shri Gombu Norbu, Gaon Budha of Mukto, Shri Chorten Norbu, Headmaster of Government Secondary School. Their esteemed presence inspired the students and staff alike. One of the students Kr Tashi Dondup Khom highlighted the importance of the day. 
Cultural programmes like Patriotic and local songs, a traditional Monpa dance, drama on Swamiji’s life story along with Chicago Address, another drama on Bhagawan Buddha etc. performed by the students, added colour to the occasion. Addressing the gathering, the esteemed guests appreciated the efforts of the school in instilling values of universal brotherhood, service, and cultural pride among students. They urged the young generation to follow the ideals of Swamiji in their lives to build a harmonious society. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the chanting of the Shanti Mantra, leaving everyone inspired with the ideals of harmony, peace and universal brotherhood. 

A special programme was organised on 1st September 2025 in the School Prayer Hall at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Mukto, to enlighten students about the bravery and dedication of the Indian armed forces.. The event was graced by Colonel Arvind Singh Shekhawat of the Sikh Regiment, Baisakhi Brigade, who delivered a powerful and insightful presentation through PPT on Operation Sindoor. The programme began with a warm welcome by Principal, Shri Dipok Chetri, who expressed gratitude for the Colonel and other dignitaries’ presence. All the teachers, students, warden, etc., were present to witness this memorable occasion. Colonel Shekhawat’s presentation highlighted the planning, execution, and success of Operation Sindur. His words inspired the students with values of patriotism, courage, and discipline. The event was further honoured by the presence of Major Harshvardhan, Lieutenant Mukesh, and other personnel from the armed forces, whose presence added pride and dignity to the programme.
After the presentation, the students actively interacted with the officers by asking thoughtful questions, to which the guests responded with patience and clarity. This session gave the students a deeper understanding of the bravery and commitment of our armed forces. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to the officers, acknowledging their time, dedication, and valuable message. The event became a source of great motivation for both students and teachers, reinforcing the spirit of service and responsibility towards the nation.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Mukto, celebrated Guru Purnima with deep devotion and cultural vibrancy. The programme was graced by two respected Lamas from Mukto Gonpa as honoured guests, whose presence added spiritual depth to the occasion.
The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome address to all. The significance of Guru Purnima was highlighted.  Students showcased their devotion through a Bhajan Competition, presenting Bhajans in reverence to the Guru. This was followed by a Drama Competition, where students beautifully enacted themes based on the Guru–shishya tradition, values, and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. It was an inter–house competition.
The guest Lamas, in their brief address, emphasized the importance of inner purity, humility, and respect for all beings, especially teachers who guide the path of life. They blessed the students for wisdom and good character. The celebration was concluded with the Shanti Mantra.

The Swami Vivekananda Janam Tithi was celebrated at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Mukto, on 21st 2025 of January with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event commenced with Mangalacharan by students, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Guest, Shri Rinchin Lama, a respected public leader, accompanied by Principal, VKV Mukto. A melodious welcome song along with a very welcome speech by Kr. Tashi Dawa of Class VII standard, set a warm welcome tone for the program.
The importance of the day was highlighted through a speech by Kr. Tashi Gombu of Class VII standard, who emphasized Swami Vivekananda’s role in inspiring youth and shaping a progressive society. Guest Shri Rinchin Lama, in his address, encouraged students to follow Swamiji’s teachings of self-confidence, discipline, and service to humanity.
Cultural performances, including vibrant Monpa dance, patriotic songs, patriotic dance, action song, drama based on the life incidents of Swamiji, added vibrancy to the event. The program concluded with prize distribution, a vote of thanks, and the chanting of the Shanti Mantra. The celebration was well-organized and served as a source of inspiration, reminding everyone of Swami Vivekananda’s lasting legacy.
