Samarth Bharat Parv and National Youth Day Celebrated at VKV Mukto

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Mukto celebrated Samarth Bharat Parv from 25 December 2025 to 12 January 2026 with devotion, discipline, and patriotic spirit. The celebration aimed to instill national values, cultural awareness, and the vision of a strong and self-reliant India among students.
During this period, daily morning assemblies featured short speeches by teachers and students on Indian culture, national values, Swami Vivekananda’s ideals, India’s contributions in various fields, health and hygiene, and the concept of Samarth Bharat. Vande Mataram and Swadesh Mantra were sung during the assemblies, and Bharat Mata Aarti was performed every evening, fostering patriotism and cultural values.
As part of community outreach, two outreach programs were conducted—at Jang on 7 January 2026 and Khirmu on 8 January 2026. The programs included patriotic songs, Swadesh Mantra and Vande Mataram singing, PPT presentations highlighting the activities and achievements of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya and Vivekananda Kendra, speeches, and cultural performances by students. A total of 84 participants attended both outreach programs.
The celebration concluded with the National Youth Day programme on 12 January 2026, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The programme was graced by Shri Hakraso Kri Sir, ADC Jang, as Chief Guest; Shri Hinchon Perme, CO Mukto Bongkhar Circle, as Guest of Honour; and Shri Pema Tsering, ZPM Mukto, as Special Guest.
The event featured cultural dances, Swadesh Mantra recitation in English and the local language, a drama on the life and message of Swami Vivekananda, a PPT presentation highlighting the work of Vivekananda Kendra, and an action song based on Swamiji’s inspiring quotes. The programme successfully reinforced the ideals of youth empowerment, character building, and national service.
