
In reponse to the call of our Honourable PM Mr. Modi, today at VKV-Kharsang fit India Campaign was launched by organizing Prabhat Pheri aimed to impart the thematic campaign of ‘Fitness ka dose – Aadha Ghanta Roz’ — to create awareness and disseminate the message of Fit India Movement. On account of completion of one year of need for Healthy Arunachal Pradesh/ Fit India Movement, A Prabhat Pheri Health related rally was conducted uttering slogans in relation to health. The rally was taken from nearest SDO Office at 8.30 am on 07.12.2020 to Kharsang Market. Prabhat Pheri was flgged off by Sri Sanjay Kimsing SSG member and Sri Balaji N.Waghmare ,Principal VKV Kharsng and Importance of the day was delivered by the Principal VKV-kharsang. The Prabhat Pheri was successfully concluded with the efforts of Sri Rajendra S Patil, PT Teacher of VKV Kharsng and total 89 participants (students,teachers and GR-IV staff) were present on this occasion.

On the auspicious occasion of Universal brotherhood day we have organized the very small program On 11/09/2020 at 12.00 pm as there was online program of Su. Nivedita didi, Sri. Ajit Dowalji National
Security advisor and shri. Gurumurthiji of Vivekananda Kendra international foundation Delhi in morning All the teachers have participated and watched this program.
Our universal brotherhood programme was started at 12.00 pm.
Guest of honour and chief guest- Shri. Longdang Yangchang Senior Executive of oil Company Limited Kharsang was Invited as Chief Guest and Smt. T. Sunyan Senior Teacher and Arun Jyoti
Karyakarta was invited as Guest of Honour.
Other invitee- Shri. Sanjay Kimsing Chairperson of SSG, was also invited.

VKV Kharsang celebrated the raksha bandhan in school in a very simple way on 03/08/2020 at 10.30 am only staff members were present due to Covid-19 Pandemic condition. Shri. R P Singh was the in charge of this celebration where he delivered the importance of the celebration. In his speech he stated that the Raksha bandhan has a very age old tradition. He also informed in his address that the root of this ausciciousoccasion lie in the vedic Era such as in the story of King Bali and Bhagwan waman. Even he stated the story of Lord Krishna and Draupadi of Pandvas.
Ritual performed in rakshabandhan
after the speech of sri. R p Singh sir, First Principal Balaji N Waghmare tied the Rakhi to the photo of swami Vivekananda followed by tying the Rakhi to the Panchamahabuta kalash. This kalash we prepared by collection of very holy Panchamahabhuta i.e. earth, water, air, fire and space(Akasha)
we also tied Rakhi to the campus tree such as Peepal tree and others. All staff members also followed the same. Then sweet was distributed. In this way we celebrated the Rakshabandhan in a very simple way

VKV-kharsang conducted the Matri Puja for the students and parents of class-X. At 10.00 am., Class-X students received thier mothers / fathers to the prayer hall after washing the feets of their parents. It was noticed that such an holy task was done by the students for the first time in the thier life and it could touch their hearts. Out of 33 students a total number of 31 mothers were present for the programme.
All the parents offered flowers in the front of BHARAT MATA and SWAMI VIVEKANANDA and then they were taken to the prayer hall after the Tilak. Smt. Mamta Singh started the programme with invocation followed by the Welcome address from Shri Shyamal Chakraborty, Principal, VKV-Kharsang. He also introduced Su. Pranati Roy, Principal, VKV-Borgolai, Shri P. Ajay Kr., Cluster I/C and Shri S.N.Pandey, Teacher, VKV-Jairampur, to the parents and the students.
It was followed by the felicitation of Su. Pranati Didi by Shri P. Ajay Kr with a traditional bag of Tangsa community.
After this, Adarneya Pranati Didi spoke to the participants about the significance of the Matri Puja. In her elaborate speech she explained the role of a mother for the growth of a child with some interesting facts and stories from the real life experiences. She said that in a family every mother is like a scientist and her project is to bring up her child with moral values to become successful in life.

GSSY programme was conducted at VKV-KHARSANG. Dr. G. Maji was the Chief Guest and Shri N. Tangha, Deputy Director of APEDA, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh was the main speaker of the occasion.
Some of the alumni members and parents also attended the programme with all staff members and students of VKV-KHARSANG.

On dated : 29th June 2019 , at 10 a.m., the first Parents’ meeting for the academic session of 2019-20 was conducted in the presence of Shri P.Ajay kumar, Cluster In-charge of Tirap Cluster. It was a fruitful get together for teachers and parents of Class-IX and X students because it is helpful for us to achieve a colourful and better result in the days to come. The meeting was attended by 30 parents of Class-X out of 33 and 26 parents of Class-IX out of 39.
The meeting was inaugurated by Shri P. Ajay kumar with lighting of lamp and invocation. The warm welcome was given to all by Shri R.P.Singh (Class Teacher of Class-IX) which was followed by a melodious patriotic song from the girls of Class-X.
Shri P.Ajay kumar delivered his lecture on “Introduction of Vivekananda Kendra” in which origin of VK and purpose of VKVs were made clear to the parents. He also explained about the parents’ expectations from the school and the school’s expect from the parents. The speech was an excellent presentation of VK introduction and about the aims / objectives of VKVs in Arunachal Pradesh.
It was a time to give feedbacks on the overall performance of Class-X and Class-IX students. Shri Dibakar Luitel and Shri R.P.Singh (Class Teachers of Class-IX & X) in their feedback reports said that students are well disciplined and performing well in academic. Further, they requested parents to check the jung food and mobile usage of students at home.
