All the students of Class-VI to X has just completed their UNIT TEST-I on 04th September and rushed to arrange the Teachers’ Day celebration with great joy and enthusiasm. The immense love and respect shown by the students for their teachers is a matter of pride and real happiness for each one of us.

The celebration started from the morning onwards as per our Daily routine because the acting wardens and hostel in-charges were in action and that also in proper discipline. The routine continued and reached up to School Assembly. It was managed well by the acting Principal and teachers then it was followed by the Classroom teaching up to fourth period.

At 11 a.m., a short and precise programme was organised by the students of Class-X. The total number of 385 students and 15 teachers and a warden attended the programme. It was a pride moment for all of us and will be remembered by many throughout their life. The reception of all the teachers was followed by lighting of lamp and then welcome address from Kr. Lempha Boham, Class-X.

Some of the teachers blessed the students and appealed them to produce an excellent result as a Guru Dakshina for all the teachers.

On 08th Nov 2014, a Talent Show for Class-I & II and a Science  Exhibition for Class-III to V was conducted at VKV-KHARSANG. The Programme was inaugurated with the exhibition stall at 10 a.m. Sri Shyamal Chakraborty, Principal VKV Kharsang inaugurated the exhibition stall along with 66 parents  out of 117, of primary classes. After witnessing various beautiful still and working models prepared by the students of class – III –V, the parents were lead to the prayer hall of VKV Kharsang.

All the parents could find their sit in the well decorated prayer hall. The talent show was started with three Omkaras followed om sahnavawtu . A warm welcome address was given to the parents by Sri Anup Yadav. A melodious welcome song was sang by the students of class I and II. The key note address was offered to the parents by Shri Shyamal Chakraborty, Principal VKV Kharsang. In his address he highlighted the following tips to the parents for improving Child’s concentration. He urge the parents -

• To keep the students away from excessive consumption of sugar in their day to day diet, for presence of excess sugar in their bloodstream makes them hyperactive, and deviate them from a single point. It leads them lethargic and irritating and hampers the chances of good concentration.
• To avoid multi-tasking like using of electronic gadgets and book at same time.
• To frame study time table subject wise with proper break after every 40 min, to 1 hour.
• To watch out our habits during our normal communication in the family, watching TV, talking loudly etc.
• To avoid providing junk food to the children.

On 28th February 2015, VKV Kharsang observed SCIENCE DAY -2015 in the school Prayer Hall. Shri Shyamal Chakraborty, Principal, VKV Kharsang welcomed the students and staff to witness the programme. He also threw light on the importance of the day. In his address he said that science is the part of our day-today life. If understood properly it does wonders and brings fun in life. He further added that every Magic has science behind it. He urged all the students to try to understand the basic concept science behind every experiment performed.

On 6th Nov 2014 , Students  and staff of our school participated in the Rangfra day  programme of Tangsa community at Kharsang. All the hostellers are divided into four groups under their class teachers to attend the programme at Chingsa Mandir, Tinali Basti Mandir, Longkey Mandir and Kuttom Mandir. During their presence in the mandirs, all the students and staff attended the prayer session,delivered speech and presented a Rangfra Bhajan. Our participation in the programme was appreciated by all the members of Rangfra society.

On dated: 29th August 2015, the Raksha Bandhan celebration was organised in the school at 9.30 am. The programme is attended by 310 students and 14 staff members of VKV-Kharsang. The progamme was started with 3 omkaras followed by Om Sahana  ___.  All the students and staff  members are greeted by the Principal, and conveyed his best wishes on the occasion. Shri Keshab Upadhayay highlighted the historical significance and background of this holy festival to all.

In the front of Swamiji’s photo rakhi was offered by Smt. Dewlu Kri and then it was followed by the tying of rakhees to Principal, staff and students by the Didis and girl students of the Vidyalaya. The programme was concluded with Shanti mantra followed by Sweets distribution at 10.45 am.

Program Detail:The District level competition for the Traditional dance and drama on the occasion of MEJSP and Swamiji Jayanti cum National Youth Day celebration was conducted at VKV-Kharsang.

There were eight troops for the traditional dance and seven troops of traditional drama competitions.

5. Chief Guest’s Address: Highlighted the importance of indigenous culture and appealed the public to protect it for the future generations.

Felicitation: Chief Guest and three judges were felicitated by the Principal of VKV-Kharsang. It was followed by the traditional dance competition from eight local troops

On dated: 31st October 2014, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm. The various types of programmes and competitions were conducted to inculcate the feeling of nationalism in the students, who are the future generation of our country. Some of the events which are conducted in our school are :

Marathon
The participants are divided into three categories:
Sub-Junior Group (Class-III to V) = 52
Junior Group (Class-VI to VIII) = 44
Senior Group (Class-IX to X) = 40

At 5.10 a.m., the Flag off for marathon is done by the Principal. It is conducted from VKV-Kharsang to Innao village and back to school.

Pledge
As per the contents given by the government it is lead by Sri Ranjit Pradhan for the students and teachers in the school assembly. The total number of 422 students and 14 teachers has taken the pledge together.

Speech
In the school assembly, Shri Prasanjit Datta Roy, English Teacher of our instutitution delivered a speech on the life and messages of Sardar Vallabhai Patel. In his speech of twenty minutes he highlighted the role of Sardar Patel in the integration of India.

Patriotic song
The girl students of Class-X presented a melodious patriotic song in the school assembly after speech given by Shri Pransanjit Datta Ray.

Poster making
There was a poster making competition for all the students from Class-III to X. The students participated with full enthusiasm and shown their talent with innovative ideas of writing the thoughts and messages with the portrait of Sardar Patel. For this competition the students were divided in three categories :

On 12th August 2015, a health screening camp was conducted for the students of Class-I to X in the prayer hall of VKV-Kharsang. The camp started at 9.30 a.m., and continued upto 3.30 p.m.

It was organised by National Rural Health Mission under DMO of Changlang district. A total number of 393 students are screened by the team of three members under Dr. Gitum Romin, and benefitted from this programme. The doctors also supplied some free medicines to the school and students also. The parents of the students with various deficeincy are asked to informed. The RBSK CARD of each student is prepared by the team and is handed over to the School.
