Gita Jayanthi Celebrated - VKV Vivek Vihar
Gita Jayanti was celebrated with complete fervor and enthusiasm in our campus today. The programme which was conducted in association with the active participation of the students from class V to X created a positive vibe among all.
As per tradition the karyakram began with Mangalacharan by selected students from class IX and X. This was followed by Swagat bhashanam by Sri.Ripunjay Kumar Tiwari, our Sanskrit teacher. Then Km.Geyir Nyodu of class IX threw light on the importance of Bhagavad Gita in today’s life. It was a scholarly speech under the guidance of Sri.R.K.Tiwari Sir.
In the cultural programme section there were a bunch of Sanskrit patriotic songs presented by the students of class V, VII, VIII and IX. Each song enthralled the audience with its own sweetness. There were two Sanskrit natakam by class VI and VII students based on the stories from their Sanskrit book.
Before concluding the programme there was a motivational speech by our Principal Sri.Y.Pradeep. He acknowledged happiness to the students for their active participation in the programme.
Su.Meena Jintukar, a well wisher of Vivekanana Kendra from Maharashtra, who came for IT orientation programme witnessed the programme and expressed happiness on the peerless performance of the students.
The programme concluded with shanty mantra.
