Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school . As planned in the beginning of the session the murti was brought  from Gohpur . It was ceremoniously brought to the prayer hall and the Pratishta was done . The the puja was performed. Students of all classes got opportunity to offer their obeisance to Lord Vighneswara and the importance of the day was briefed to them .

By evening during the prayer  , special bhajans  were chanted  and aarati was done . The Puja concluded with Prasad Vitaran .

The entire program was co-ordinate by Shri Ripunjay Kumar Tiwari  ,our  Sanskrit teacher  with  complete religious fervour

A meeting of the parents of our class IX students was conducted on 08th September from 3 pm onwards in our prayer hall. This is the second parents’ meeting in the session.

The programme began with invocation by class IX students. Then the Principal welcomed all parents to the programme.

Then all the 68 parents who were present introduced themselves. This was followed by a speech by Sri.Satish Kumar (Hindi Teacher), which threw light on Swamiji, Ma.Eknathji and Vivekananda Kendra activities. Sri.M.V.Raveendran Sir presented an account on the uniform system of assessment by CBSE.

Then the teachers presented the target set by them in their respective subjects and their plans to achieve the same. According to the target set, the school is all set to repeat the tradition of best performance in this session too. For achieving the target, Principal appealed the cooperation of all parents in ensuring attendance in regular classes and special coaching classes on afternoons and holidays.

After that some of the parents expressed their experience of this parents’ meeting.

Sri.J.P. Mishra (Sanskrit Teacher) registered the vote of thanks.

The parents left after enjoying light refreshment, which was followed by the Shanti Mantra.      

दिनांक 02/09/2018, दिन- रविवार को ‘श्रीकृष्णजन्माष्टमी’ का उत्सव अपने विद्यालय के प्रार्थना-कक्ष में बड़े श्रद्धा, उल्लास एवं परंपरागत तरीके से मनाया गया | यह कार्यक्रम सुबह  09.00 बजे से प्रारंभ होकर 10.30 बजे तक चला | इस
उत्सव में छात्रावास की सभी 135  छात्राओं के साथ-साथ विद्यालय परिसर के सभी शिक्षक-शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी एवं उनके परिजनों ने हिस्सा लिया |

इस कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत् छात्रावास की छात्राओं द्वारा भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की गीता पर आधारित एक लघु-नाटिका ‘गीता-संदेश’ की प्रस्तुति की गई एवं कक्षा- एक के विद्यार्थियों     के लिए ‘राधा-कृष्ण’ प्रतियोगिता का भी आयोजन किया गया | इस प्रतियोगिता में राधा-कृष्ण के 38 प्रतिभागियों ने हिस्सा लिया | हमारी पंजी-पुस्तिका के अनुसार 45 विद्यार्थियों के परिजन हमारे इस आयोजन के प्रत्यक्षदर्शी बने |  

इस उत्सव का शुभारंभ ऐक्य मंत्र से एवं समापन शांति मंत्र से किया गया | इस बीच हमारे विद्यालय के प्रधानाध्यापक श्री वाई प्रदीप ने आयोजन में उपस्थित सभी बच्चों एवं आगंतुकों को ‘श्रीकृष्णजन्माष्टमी’ की शुभकामना प्रदान की | इसके उपरांत  संस्कृत-शिक्षक श्री ज्योति प्रकाश मिश्र ने बड़े ही सहज और सरल ढंग से भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की जन्म-कथा एवं भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा की महत्ता पर प्रकाश डाला तथा कार्यक्रम के अंत में हिंदी शिक्षक श्री अनुप कुमार यादव ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापन किया  अंत में उपस्थित सभी भक्तजनों ने प्रभु के आशीष के रूप में लड्डू-प्रसाद ग्रहण कर अपने-अपने घर को प्रस्थान किया | तत्पश्चात् संध्या-भजन के समय छात्रावास की छात्राओं के बीच भगवान श्रीकृष्ण पर आधारित भजन प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया |

In India , Raksha bandhan celebration are about strengthening the bond of love  between brothers and sisters and fostering brotherhood .Likewise ,in our school Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya , Vivek Vihar also  celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 25th August .

The function was started with shantimantra .The students from class I to X were present on that day . Total number of 658 student and 26 teachers were attended the program . The auspicious program concluded with Kendra parthana.

A group of students went to R.K.Mission hospital, tied Raksha Sutra to Swamiji ,staff members and all patients on 26/08/2018  escorted by Su.Nabanita Kundu .

Sanskrit Divas was  celebrated   at VKV  Vivek Vihar  on 27/08/2018 .   All assembled in the  prayer hall  at 1 p.m.  346 students and 27 teachers attended the program.

Shri  Jyothi  Prakash  Mishra (Sanskrit teacher)  delivered  a speech on the topic – ‘Importance of  Sanskrit language’  . In this program   students presented a variety of cultural programs. There were good classical  dances , Sanskrit  geetam ,Geeta  Path  and Shlok Wachanam  .The Principal  Shri  Y Pradeep  gave the keynote address and appealed the students  to learn more and more Sanskrit  . The  program culminated with the  chanting  of shanti  mantra .

We , 5 girls and 2 boys of Vivek Vihar along with me reached on time . 5.30 pm prayer was held followed by the patriotic song competition of VKV Balijan .There after a brief interaction among all teachers , mentors ,escorts and RP’s from JP , Pune ( Su.Mrinmoyee , Sri N.Kulkarni & Su.Vedangi) was held.

On 6th , at 8.30 am formally the camp was inaugurated  .

At 9.00 am the session started, every morning at 8.30 am .zero movement followed by table memorisation was there .

This camp the theme was ‘observation’. All the activities , games ,write-ups were based on observations and skills .The What & Why , how to observe using all senses were explained to students and then the activities were conducted. The students enjoyed these as competitions among groups were there .

The GMAT session was taken after zero movements at 9.00am every day .

Series of numbers, alphabets & figures , coding decoding , cubes , Venn diagram were there in GMAT session .

Worksheets on GMAT was provided to students first to solve and then discussed by RP’s . ‘Series ‘GMAT was discussed /taken by me

Evening after dinner movies –‘Nil bate sannata’, A boy in striped pyjamas ‘, Bahubali ,were shown to students and given tasks to observe group wise .

Apart from this relay drawing , patch (plot) observation, Pictionary (seeing a small picture identify the object ,name sentence , situation etc) were the

Three corners section – technical ,games creativity and sciences corners were kept . students made different objects in origami, finger drawing, balloons etc. in creative corners.

Map observation and games on map reading ,drawing map . The use  of scale , colour , index , symbols were explained to students . An ideal village map was asked to prepare group wise  and students had prepared beautifully .

The camp was informative , students enjoyed while learning

Earlier four toppers of the Pre Mid Term test were felicitated by the Principal.

“Kargil Vijay Diwas” was observed with complete patriotic fervor in our school on 26th July 2018.

After evening prayer, Sri Ripunjay Kumar Tiwari, (Sanskrit Teacher) gave a detailed account f the Kargil episode.

The facts of the foolish act of the Pakistani army to silently encroach our territory and the befitting and jaw smashing reply given by the Indian army was told.

The highlights of the war such as the supreme sacrifice made by our Jawans and the wholehearted involvement of all were told to the students.

The whole nation stood solidly behind the solid leadership of the former Prime Minister Adaraneeya Atal Bihari Vajpeyee. The disciplined Indian soldiers under the able commands of  Gen.Ved Prakash Malik, made their way into the the Pakistan territoriy.

The highest sacrifices of our brave soldiers in the difficult terrain of Batalik Sector of J&K will always be remembered.

Before concluding Sri.Ripunjay Kumar Tiwari established the power of lakhs over crores. As everyone wondered he said we the crores of Indians sleep comfortably and peacefully because there are lakhs of soldiers who spend sleepless nights across the border.
