
Students of VKV PTC Banderdewa brought laurels to the Vidyalaya by securing First Position in the District Level Governor’s Quiz Competition – 2025, organised by the Office of the Deputy Director of School Education, Papum Pare District (Rural), Yupia.
The competition was held on 18th November 2025 at Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Awasya Vidyalaya, Yupia, where students from 10 various schools across the district participated. Our Class X students,
Kr. Uki Tarh & Km. Sneha Paul, representing VKV PTC Banderdewa, participated in the event and secured the 1st position in order of merit. They scored 90/100.
The Deputy Director of School Education highly appreciated the outstanding performance of the participants and conveyed best wishes for their future endeavours.

A School Level Science Exhibition was organized today with great enthusiasm and participation from students. The objective of the exhibition was to encourage scientific thinking and innovation among the students.
Parent June Hazarika inaugurated the event. Parents appreciated the efforts of both teachers and students in promoting scientific curiosity. A total of 47 students from classes VI to X participated in the exhibition, presenting a wide range of models and ideas. There were two categories based on which exhibition was conducted- (a) Junior level (6-8), (b) Senior Level (9 &10)
The Science Exhibition was observed by students, parents, teachers, and B.Ed. trainee teachers. There were 10 working models and 11 non-working models displaying various topics of science and technology.
Students explained their models confidently and interacted actively with the visitors, demonstrating their understanding of principles of science.

VKV PTC Banderdewa successfully hosted the Eknathji Memorial Football Tournament for the Papum Pare Cluster from 23rd to 24th October 2025. The PTC authority extended full logistic support, including the playground and match officials, for the smooth conduct of the event.
Participating teams included VKV Sher, VKV Dolungmukh, VKV Seijosa, VKV Itanagar, VKV Balijan, and VKV Nirjuli. VKV Sher, VKV Dolungmukh, and VKV Seijosa reported on 22nd October afternoon, while VKV Itanagar, VKV Balijan, and VKV Nirjuli arrived on the morning of 23rd October. The teams that arrived on 23rd returned the same evening.
After the evening prayer on 22nd October, all teams assembled for the group division through a lottery system. The pools were as follows:
Group A: VKV Sher, VKV Banderdewa, VKV Dolungmukh, and VKV Itanagar
Group B: VKV Balijan, VKV Nirjuli, and VKV Seijosa
A briefing session was conducted by Sri Manuj Dutta (Coordinator), Sri Ashis Chatterjee (Principal, VKV PTC Banderdewa), Sri Govind Vishwakarma, and other escort teachers, focusing on fair play and discipline.
The inaugural function was held on 23rd October, with Sri Dusu Kaling, Principal, APPSC PTC Banderdewa, as the Chief Guest. The event began with flag hoisting, an oath-taking ceremony for fair play, and a devotional start—both teams sitting in Mandala, performing Namaskar Mudra, chanting three Omkaaras, followed by Shanti Paath and a patriotic song.
Matches commenced at 6.00 a.m. and continued till 1.00 p.m. at the PTC playground. Each match concluded with a reflective session, where players sat in Mandala, chanted Om eleven times, practiced Jnana Mudra, and recited the Shanti Mantra, emphasizing the spirit of discipline and self-awareness.
The valedictory function was held on 24th October 2025, with Sri Matin Ratan, DySP, APPSC PTC Banderdewa, as the Chief Guest. He addressed and blessed the participants with inspiring words before distributing medals and certificates to the winners and participants.
The tournament concluded peacefully, with no injuries or conflicts reported. The entire event was conducted smoothly in a spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, and harmony.

आज सायंकाल विद्यालय सभागार में हिन्दी दिवस बहुत ही हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। सर्वप्रथम सभी छात्र और शिक्षक (कुल संख्या १०५) पंक्ति बद्ध होकर सभागार में बैठे। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ प्रधानाचार्य, श्री आशीष चटर्जी के उद्बोधन के साथ प्रारंभ हुआ। प्रधानाचार्य ने छात्रों और उपस्थित शिक्षकों को हिन्दी दिवस की शुभकामनाओं के साथ ही शुद्धता के साथ हिन्दी बोलने के लिए प्रेरित किया। प्रधानाचार्य जी के उद्बोधन के बाद हिन्दी शिक्षक राजेश कुमार सिंह ने आज के हिन्दी दिवस के महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा की हिन्दी को राष्ट्र भाषा का दर्जा जल्द से जल्द मिलन चाहिए, इस हेतु उन्होंने हिन्दी कब बनेगी राष्ट्रभाषा? कविता पढ़ी। कार्यक्रम को संचालित करते हुए कक्षा दस के छात्र तोको तलाम ने वीर रस की कविता पठन के लिए कक्षा दस के ही छात्र रंगखम यांगफ़ो को आमंत्रित किया। हिन्दी उद्धरण गेई एते (कक्षा-आठ) ने सुनाया, एक और ओजस्वी वीर रस की कविता को चेरा कमिंग (कक्षा – सात) ने सस्वर गाकर सुनाया। पहेलियों को पूछने का कार्य लोपो गादि (कक्षा-नौ) ने किया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में छात्र तुमीर गादि ने एक प्रेरणा गीत गाकर उपस्थित छात्रों को उन्होंने एक नई दिशा प्रदान की।

The District Level Science Seminar was organized at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Doimukh, on 11th September 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from four reputed schools of the region, showcasing the scientific aptitude and presentation skills of young minds.
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) PTC Banderdewa made a notable mark in the competition with commendable performances by its students.
Kr. Mandung Wangsu, a student of Class X, secured the 2nd Position, demonstrating deep understanding and effective articulation of the chosen scientific topic.
Kr. Uki Tarh, also from Class X, achieved the 3rd Position, impressing the judges with clarity of thought and confident delivery.
The achievements reflect the dedication of the students and the guidance provided by the school’s faculty. The seminar not only promoted scientific temper among students but also provided a platform for knowledge exchange and healthy competition.

On the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day Sri Nabam Vivek Hon'ble MLA 14th Doimukh constituency, Sri Tadar Bingley organizing secretary VHP Arunachal Prant, Sri Kipa Loram Corporator Municipal Corporation Capital complex, Sri Biri Taming ZPM Banderdewa along with Sri Dusu Kaling Principal PTC and other dignitaries visited VKV PTC Banderdewa. Hon'ble MLA planted a sapling here on the occasion.
The auditorium of PTC Banderdewa came alive with joy and devotion on 11th September 2025, as Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, PTC Banderdewa, celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day with great fervour. Students, parents, teachers, and well-wishers gathered to honour the timeless message of Swami Vivekananda.
The celebration began with the Lighting of the Lamp by Sri Nabam Vivek, Hon’ble MLA of 14th Doimukh Assembly Constituency, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest, along with the Guest of Honour, Sri Tadar Bingley, Organizing Secretary, VHP Arunachal Pradesh Prant. Their presence inspired the gathering and set the tone for the programme.
A melodious Welcome Song by the students filled the hall with devotion, followed by the soul-stirring Vivek Vani, beautifully delivered by Km. Ayushi Mahanta of Class X. The dignitaries were warmly felicitated by the Principal, Sri Ashis Chatterjee, who also extended a heartfelt Welcome Address, highlighting the importance of Swamiji’s message in the present era. 'Arohi' Magazine was released by Sri Nabam Vivek HMLA, Sri Tadar Bingley organizing secretary VHP Arunachal Prant and Sri Dusu Kaling Principal PTC Banderdewa.
The audience was captivated when Kr. Tumir Gadi of Class IX delivered the famous Chicago Address, echoing Swamiji’s historic words with confidence and clarity. Students then staged a touching Drama on Swamiji’s life, followed by a lively Action Song by the tiny tots of Classes I & II, which brought smiles and applause from everyone present.
The Guest of Honour, Sri Tadar Bingley, inspired the gathering with his words on the need to practice universal brotherhood in today’s society. This was followed by a creative Mime performance and a colourful Traditional Dance, both of which showcased the talents and cultural spirit of the students.
The Chief Guest, Sri Nabam Vivek, in his address, reminded the audience of Swami Vivekananda’s vision for India’s youth and the importance of character building for nation-building.He recalled his VKV days and expressed his gratitude to VKV in moulding him . The students further impressed the gathering with a graceful Yoga Demonstration, symbolizing discipline, harmony, and healthy living.

• POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences):
Explanation of key legal provisions—including stringent penalties for sexual offences against children, the mandate for special courts for speedy trials (Section 28), and guidelines for institutional safeguards such as background checks (POCSO Rules 2020, Rule 3).
• Child & Adolescent Labour:
While specific statistics from this session were not recorded, earlier APSCPCR programs have consistently stressed the harmful effects of child labour, child trafficking, and associated vulnerabilities.

• Participants, likely including students, faculty, and local stakeholders, were invited to share their reflections.
• Insights may have included:
o Clarification of legal rights and protective measures under the POCSO Act.
o Greater awareness of child and adolescent labour issues.
